"virtual blizzard of snow" is almost artful in its ignorance.

What I do have no trouble believing is that Trump's best information on what is happening in Syria comes from watching cable news.

I take it that you are using the word "news" quite loosely.

true but he quickly dismisses it when someone prints out a reddit post or infowars article for him

Shows like these have always cared more about attracting guests than anything else. If you go too hard on them then they'll never come back on. I'd also venture that the host doesn't want to make himself look like an idiot by coming hard at him and getting dunked on. That allows his guest to look way more powerful.

I definitely know some Hispanic deplorables. They normally came in legally (or at least claim to) and are deeply religious. They figure as long as they have their paperwork in order and keep their head down that they'll be fine. Mathematically, they're probably slim to none to get deported if everything is in order but it's still a moral failing on their part.

What 31 national emergencies are underway? I mean, there is the Mariner's "rebuilding" again but what else?
02-10-2019 , 08:43 PM
Holy crap, these have been used as dumb sanctions against countries we don't like, we've had one open against Iran since the hostage crisis.

Let him declare another emergency and let the courts figure out if they actually mean anything.

9/11 is still an emergency, Wake me up when September ends.

The Iranians taking hostages in 1979 is still an emergency.

2009 Swine Flu? Still an emergency.

Most of them though seem to be an Executive overreach of authority to enact sanctions.

Actually the dems giving him a tiny bit of money that will barely cover even a tiny bit of his racist but largely symbolic wall in exchange for a limit to ICE beds which will actually significantly limit his immigration enforcement priorities is a stroke of genius. It’s also why talks have broken down.

New Digital Ad Campaign Targets Susan Collins Over Kavanaugh Vote
"Collins promised to protect women's rights. It was all a sham."

As part of a growing effort to unseat Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine) in 2020 over her vote to confirm Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh last year, the advocacy group Demand Justice on Saturday launched a new digital ad campaign targeting the four-term senator after Kavanaugh "declared war on Roe v. Wade" in his dissent in a major Louisiana abortion case.

The ad recounts Collins' comments ahead of her decisive vote to confirm Kavanaugh last year, in which she recited the judge's assurances that he is not looking to overturn Roe v. Wade.

"Collins promised to protect women's rights," the ad declares. "It was all a sham... We won't forget."

Watch:

"The five-figure buy will run over multiple weeks," the group said, "and is part of a sustained effort Demand Justice will mount to hold Collins accountable for supporting Kavanaugh."

On top of ad campaigns against Collins, a fundraising effort to oust the Maine senator in 2020 has already brought in millions of dollars.

Also hilarious she spiked the football a few weeks after he took to the bench and voted no on some minor abortion related topic.
