It's mind-blowing how much stupid **** this administration does; I have no idea how any of this stuff (things that would be major scandals in any other administration) ever even gets addressed. She's there to intimidate McFaul, remember he's one of the guys Putin asked Trump in Helsinki about questioning and Trump was like, "Hey good idea, you strong masculine dictator."

i could believe a lot of the "russian collusion" like the trump tower meeting or jared asking for a secure phone line in the russian embassy was russia doing a bunch of suspicious **** with trump during the campaign to play trump like a fool because he is a fool, and then release tidbits about that suspicious **** to american media to delegitimize the potus as a russian puppet. it creates domestic turmoil and internationally putin ends up looking like a boss.

it doesn't explain why trump continued to play along with the puppet act after the election though

Mr Trump’s reported meeting with Moscow officials in 1995 and the newly-unearthed footage does not show any clear wrongdoing on the part of the president. “I know nothing about Russia,” Mr Trump said during the second presidential debate against Hillary Clinton. “I don’t deal there.”

He also previously told CBS4 in 2016, “I have nothing to do with Russia. I don’t have any jobs in Russia. I’m all over the world but we’re not involved in Russia.”

And again, in 2017, the president reiterated those claims in a tweet: “Russia has never tried to use leverage over me. I HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH RUSSIA - NO DEALS, NO LOANS, NO NOTHING!”
