I've been knocked out at least a half dozen times from various sporting activities. I was the reason my little league team realized we should be wearing batting helmets for stolen base drills. Two times I can think of in backyard football. One nasty sledding accident. Once falling off a jungle gym onto pavement. I know there are some others I'm forgetting.

Hopefully the fact that all these happened before age 18 helps with CTE risk.

I've been knocked out quite a few times racing motocross in my younger years. Same reason my knees are jacked up.

Ive been knocked out or saw stars a few times. Was jumping my bike across a ditch once. Slipped on ice hit the back of my head. A goat bucked me at a petting zoo. Fell out of a tree. Those were all as a kid and i was out. Not sure how many times but mostly just saw stars from playing sports or dumb fights.

Trump cant be right about anything though. Soccer is not getting big and it made me see stars more then football. But ymmv...

Think womens youth soccer has the highest concussion rate per time played. But seeing how my brain is mush i might be remembering wrong.
