That's Roger Stone in a nutshell, right? For all his preening and his mob boss suits and his tough-guy talk, the dude is just a College Republican dweebus playing silly pranks on Democrats. He's never grown up beyond his Nixon days. Guys like Manafort are the real OG gangsters committing major financial crimes for Russia and moving millions, Stone is just doing College Republican dirty tricks. The whole Wikileaks thing wasn't much more than a glorified prank, like forging letters or getting 100 pizzas delivered to the DNC headquarters. Probably the only illegal thing Stone did was he lied to the feds and threatened some dude's therapy dog.

Lets be realistic though if Trump losses he will pardon every one of them other than Cohen and if he wins he will do the same thing as its his last term

Heck if Mueller called me in I plead the fifth. If I don't talk I cant lie or get something wrong

The Fifth prevents you from having to tell on yourself. Mueller will throw you in the can if you refuse to talk about other people.

True, but there’s a huge universe in which talking about other people incriminates yourself. In practice it is very hard to overrule somebody’s decision to invoke the fifth because what they’re refusing to testify about isn’t actually self-incriminating. Part of this reason is because forcing them to explain exactly why testifying about something would be incriminating, would itself, be incriminating.

I love how he's pretty much throwing everything against the wall, hoping that something sticks to his base and can be contorted as some kind of equivalent action.

People like to think that his use of whataboutism is some kind of planned machiavellian deception of the American people when it's really a guy who parrots the whataboutism he hears on FOX News every morning.
