You don't waive your right against self-incrimination just because you've previously incriminated yourself... Think about that, if that was the case, everyone who ever confessed to anything ever could be made to testify against themselves simply because they'd already confessed. Also he's apparently a former military prosecutor so he definitely knows this. Maybe whoever posted this misunderstood what he was saying? I didn't see the interview.

you're saying he hasn't had any communication/data on his computer(s) and cell phone(s) that were in the house?

She could continue to leverage not having it to highlight what a ridiculous baby POTUS is.

Who is the chick on Cuomo now that has single ha deadly cornered the Botox market? Is she the one that was at the courthouse this morning?

(Can only stand to peek in).

Meh, it just makes her look petty if she does. She owned him all over the place and played this basically perfectly. She also told him when he reopened the government they could discuss a mutually agreed upon date so there's no reason for her not to do that now.

Yeah, you're right. She'll have plenty of later spots to go for the juggular. He is clearly outmatched.

I was joking. Sorry, maybe too much coffee today. Lieu probably just meant since Stone's open to talking, let's talk (under penalty of perjury).

I really hope you are right

Anyone else rewatching Get Me Roger Stone tonight?

I imagine this has already been suggested itt, but I think it would be a good idea for one or more "spokespersons" for federal workers forced to work throughout the shutdown without pay to hint that federal workers will seriously consider alternatives to working without pay should another shutdown occur in February.

Get the word out early and often.

Watching Who Framed Roger Stone instead.

Sklanky’s posts are all just thinly veiled brags to try to make himself look smart.

He doesn’t think trump thought what he posted, but wanted us to know he could think of it

If he shuts it down again, it’s going to play out the same way, except this time his approval tanks even worse. He needs to get out of the cycle and he knows it. I just can’t play this out in any way other than him lying and claiming some sort of victory that isn’t there, or *possibly* but unilkely doing the emergency powers act. But I can’t see him doing that either, because if he was going to do that, he would have done it today. That seems like it was always a bluff that Pelosi called. Trump is irrational and stupid, but closing the government again would be the height of irrationality and stupidity for him. And, again, if he does it, great, he’s just ****ing himself again and he’ll shave another few points off the old 538 tracker and shed just a little more of his base.

Don Lemon is reading quotes from the art of the deal right now.

But Trump realized that this opposite force was proportional to the CUBE of the number of days as workers started to attend food banks.

So from day one Trump knew that the shutdown's maximum effectiveness in making his was base happy was simply the solution to the equation 2x -(3x squared)/50 =0 . He decided to go a couple extra days just in case.

Hmmmm

Eat a ban?

I guess not

I think that the MAGA cred had diminishing returns after x=50/3 days:

https://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?...(3x%5E2)%2F50)

Which sounds about right; he would have been able to deliver the SOTU, which would have delivered more MAGA. Now, he has 11 days to cobble together a SOTU, where if he had cut his losses at peak MAGA, he would still have had more time to work on it.

It’s amazing to me how much hate this forum had for her, not 30 days ago, and how now she’s like second only to AOC and maybe BHO in terms of GPOAT. Granted she’s always been awesome and i’m old enough to remember 2006-2010, but it’s funny to watch everyone finally realize it.

I will tell you something most of the country probably already knows: @SpeakerPelosi does not mess around

I never really liked Savid Dklansky`s posts much, but this new gimmick making fun of him is pretty good.
