The CNN article makes it sound likes he's about to issue it but only says it's been recently updated so who knows. It's horrible move to make for him which makes it more likely and also makes it likely to succeed...

Trump is DYING to give the SOTU address. LOL I don't know why b/c no one other than political junkies really watch past the first 15 min or so.

So you got
1. Trump. He WANTS that national emergency. Craves the attention as well as being the one to take action.
2. Mitch. He knows full well if Trump declares an emergency, the next Dem POTUS may do the same about healthcare or wages. So he doesn't want that.
3. Pelosi. She knows both #1 and 2.

Maddow reporting that this supervisor did it 30 times

30 people in the WH have clearances right now who did not qualify for them

Some people hate mentioning impeachment, but the Jared Kushner (and others) clearance debacle has to rise to a serious abuse of power. Of course, nothing will ever come of it.

If Obama gave one person clearance who didn’t qualify Fox would have turned itself into a one story 24 hour news program for a decade. There would have been instant impeachment proceedings.
