And I said that an obvious idea that no one considers is that they'd bring infant animals on board, not fully grown ones.

Less space for storage, and less feeding requirements.

Well, my biggest issue in believing the bible is I just couldn't buy that Noah would have brung mosquitos and wasps with him. Never thought that they wouldn't be on the list.

Hmmmmm....

Meh, I've been boycotting them since their opposition to CA Prop 8 and don't miss it. They just opened one up a few blocks from me, which earned a few "let's see how strong your boycott game is NOW" comments from my wife.

I have a feeling the decision to serve ff was for no other reason than an hour before the Clemson visit somebody thought to ask "What are we going to serve them?"

I'm pissed that Noah decided to take 5000 different species of lizard. We don't need that many for ****s sake, just take the one type.

No one else had a boat?

How about Adam and Eve had two sons..... Or in the bible God spoke to Jesus alone.....

From a chain with legitimate issues with the LGBTQT community to boot.

I guess nobody said there was only one boat. Maybe some of the lizards floated on a headboard like Titanic and didn't need a boat. I guess the mosquitos came along uninvited so they could bite the other animals, and the wasps did too so they could sting Noah when he got on his ladder to feed the giraffes.

All joking aside, Inso0, here is what I don't get...how in the **** do you believe in Noah's ark story literally but don't understand that imprisoning children of people asking for refuge is not Christ-like? I mean, I don't claim to be an expert on how nautical animal husbandry would work out, but even with my limited formal exposure to the teachings I know that valuing riches is, like, not part of God's plan. Greed. Gluttony. Wrath. Lust. Pride. I mean those can hardly be argued against being front and center for your champion here.

Not even a little bit true. But you could maybe not partake in extreme right wing hate ownership of mediocre chicken.

Given all the self avowed liberal progressives here who claim they stand for something, this chick fil a thing is funny.

I would recommend if you have to eat fast food chicken get out some more as it is nowhere close to the best.

Guess can’t really expect people to sacrifice average chicken for their principles.

I shed a tear for politics today that so many would sell out their principles for heat lamp chicken. It’s not a matter of dodging every companies behind the scenes politics. Chick fil a is aggressively in your face about it. Even Canadians knew this.

Bottom line is Chik Fil A makes their religion and hate part of their corporate identity. So it is significantly different than some other business where the owner prays privately on Sunday.

I read this thread a couple times a week, and I read about 10-15% of the posts overall, because it is kind of fun to see the constant raw frantic emotion, but I never understood this Ins0 obsession (and the last time I posted here long ago I had people PMing me that I was him for some reason, even though I have no idea who or what he is). I see once in a while people thank him when the stock market has a bad day, though I assume that they are silently less thankful when it has a good day, but since everyone is being biblical, is there a link to the origin of the obsession with this person. A quick answer is fine (if possible), as I am not trying to disrupt the discussions about the variety of species on the Ark or the better fast food places to eat.

Thanks in advance.

I've craved Chik Fil A about a dozen times in my life. Always hungover on a Sunday.

This is true, and as I mentioned I fall on the side of not giving my money to them because they have made it super clear some of my money will go toward oppression.

Now tho, this is something I am really wrestling with lately--by not eating CFA I get a minor sense of accomplishment from--to your point--a minor inconvenience to me and a relatively insignificant impact to them. Meanwhile, I take part in the system, work for and buy goods from companies that are entrenched in exploitation here and abroad, and chase financial endeavors to earn and then send a very significant amount of money off to the government to be used for war machines, child prisons, adult prisons, ICE etc, etc.

I don't drive a modified truck so I can roll coal, I recycle and drive a Prius. BUT, I have been on 5 flights in the last two weeks. I believe in climate change, and I know that recycling and Prius driving is not enough of a change to make a difference. So who is worse? Me or the guy who is too dumb to know better?

I wonder if the lulling personal but near zero actual impact of not buying a chicken sandwich from the bigots is actually too easy of a line to draw and should not get any applause at all? We the baddies regardless.

I think you're getting Inso mixed up with another moron. It's an understandable mistake as they're both incredibly stupid.
01-15-2019 , 08:04 PM
That is possible, as I do not read this thread every day, maybe 2-3 days a week, and on those days I read the last 30-40ish posts. It kind of gets repetitive, but that is fine. If someone else is thanked for the stock market (when the results fit the agenda) then my bad on that, but it this Ins0 guy does appear quite often (even if he does not post) even with casual viewing, and I genuinely have no idea what created this reaction, so call it a bit of curiosity. Not a big deal though in the end whether it is answered or not.

@ Monteroy

There are links just a few posts back that begin to answer your question. He also has some fantastic thoughts about dinosaur nostrils, but I don't have a link handy.

That's awval999, aka the OP of the original Trump thread who was proud to "get (his) country back" despite supposedly voting for Obama twice, who proudly voted for Trump to receive his precious $20 per week tax cut.

I know, that's why they are not on the list and he didn't need to catch two of each!!

Look, does it crawl on the land? Yes? stays on the list. No? Scratch it. Does it have lungs? Yes? Through this round. No? Out of here. NEXT! When you finally get to the QUALIFIED list of lunged animals you are at just a few hundred and you start checking for penises and vajajays on the BABY INFANT animals to save on feed and space.

I'm starting to see why Inso0 is so grumpy all the time.

Ah, ok. Thanks. Actually, I think I was actually called that arvall guy in the PMs (I admit I am not going to bother to look to find out). Not easy for an infrequent observer to remember all of the characters of this thread. I even forgot who was the one who used to post all the silly Trump photos, I assume he has moved on.
