First of all, "no way" is just not true. Bernie did relatively well in WV, Tester is a much more tolerable option in a nearly equally red state, WV used to be blue for like 50 years, etc. Things can always change and the way to effect change is to run decent candidates (even Ojeda seems a lot better for instance) and see what happens, rather than succumbing to the lowest common denominator.
But even conceding the seat completely is preferable to the status quo imo, because having the swing vote in congress who is responsible for negotiations and compromise be a complete piece of **** is a disaster.
