Contradicting Trump, Bolton says no withdrawal from Syria until ISIS destroyed, Kurds’ safety guaranteed
Speaking during a visit to Israel, Bolton said that certain “objectives” must be achieved before a pullout could take place. “The timetable flows from the policy decisions that we need to implement.”

Bolton acknowledged that pockets of the Islamic State remain undefeated and that a quick U.S. pullout could endanger U.S. partners and allies in the region, as well as U.S. forces themselves.

yeah, that's the thing... he doesn't want to trade ANYTHING for it. he thinks he should get his $5.7B and democrats should get nothing. That's why the government is shut down. If they were just horsetrading over details there wouldn't be a shutdown. It, would just be normal washington operation, keep the government open and negotiate agreements like they've done for 200+ years.

PRESIDENT DEALS doesn't understand that simple dynamic.

Any $ for the wall is a losing scenario...
Option 1: Partially fund the wall (5b, 1.5b, tree-fiddy) and then eventually spend countless billions to finish and maintain a racist horrible wall.
Option 2: Partially fund and then not give any more $ to finish the wall, which is red meat to every deplorable:
FINISH WHAT YOU STARTED!
BACKSTABBING OBSRUCTIONIST DEMS!
GOV'T WASTE BECAUSE OF THE DEMS!

This will go on for however long it takes to not actually build a wall. Democrats need to re-frame this whole thing completely away from any inkling of a wall and make it about reform to get workers, families, asylum seekers and commerce across the border safely.

They can only do that with ZERO DOLLARS for the wall.

It’s Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez can win Ms. OOT 2018 (currently up by 10 points here: https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/3...ortez-1732714/ ) then I’m starting to actually think Trump may be in trouble in 2020.

Let's wait until the voting irregularities get sorted out before declaring victory.

Just like in real life, too many people voting = voter fraud
01-06-2019 , 11:42 PM
The AOC matchup has almost double the votes of the other matchup (~210 vs ~120)

I take Trump pretty seriously when he says he may declare a state of emergency. He is not a habitual bluffer. And when a court declares that there is no emergency, he can end the shutdown on the grounds that the judiciary won't let him build the wall. That would be pure misdirection because he could continue the shutdown even in the absence of a national emergency, but it's exactly the sort of misdirection he loves.

Then he can bang the drum about how he needs to be reelected in 2020 to continue the Herculean task of cleaning the Aegean stables, i.e., the federal judiciary, of liberal pussies. (He won't actually refer to the Aegean stables, because that would require knowledge of what the Aegean stables are, but he might well portray himself as a modern-day Hercules.)

If your job numbers are off the charts it's probably an issue with your Y axis.

Two things Trumps believes are 100% true simultaneously.

1. He is a universally loved master negotiator/manipulator who can sell any deal and can make anyone agree with him.

2. 99% of the non fox media are so dead set against him personally that they are willing to risk their entire careers on a daily basis to make up lies about his great accomplishments.

If he doesn’t, Ben Garrison certainly will.
