Who do you think used the phrase "sand and death" around him before he picked it up and repeated it like the goddamn Dude?

I'm going with Bolton.

During a rambling 95-minute Cabinet meeting Wednesday, Trump criticized the strategy of American military leaders in Afghanistan, adding, “I think I would have been a good general, but who knows?”
01-02-2019 , 07:20 PM
I know. The answer is no, you would not have been a good general.

Actually Trump seems a legit isolationist, he may well have been above average.

Someone should probably let Trump know he is in fact the generals' boss and that if their strategy is so terrible and he "would have been a good general" he can direct them to follow his brilliant strategies instead, he doesn't have to whine that we'll never know how great he could be.

i'm telling you guys, this shutdown will last until 2020. he only wants to be president of his insane fascist base so from his perspective he's got nothing to lose
01-02-2019 , 08:19 PM
We had a shutdown a year ago for a little bit so we'll see. Not that anyone cares other than obviously if that impacts you directly.

most people definitely do not remember something that psychologically was a decade ago.

The biggest problem with a shutdown is simply that's what R's and libertarians want anyway so lol libs I guess.

Every day this guy is the president and it's pretty much locked in at this point that 40% support it, every single day.

The new ways and means guy wants to go slow on getting those tax returns. Make a case to the public. I have a better idea, just get them ASAP ffs.

The whole thing is going to get tied up in court. May as well cross all your Ts and dot your Is before the ligitation begins.
01-02-2019 , 08:51 PM
If the Dems tell Trump to step down or they release his tax returns, does he? I say yes.
01-02-2019 , 08:54 PM
No way

The timing is tricky for Neal, though, because going to war with the administration over the issue threatens their chances of working together on other, substantial tax issues.

“He is a very policy-driven person, and I think he sees that if we break the glass and pull that alarm, you won’t get anything done after that,” said Rubin.
Ah, yes. Can't do anything that might annoy Republicans because then how can you REACH ACROSS THE AISLE and craft bipartisan legislation? After all we're all reasonable men and women who put country first, I'm sure if Democrats are nice enough to the GOP they'll give these tax plans a fair hearing.
