There's always a tweet.

I suggested a while ago that someone create a website with the names of Trump supporters so we truly #neverforget. While I don't think there is such a site, plain ole google does a pretty good job. For example, consider that roommate-wanting grifter and the lady who doxes white nationalists with as little as a pic or two. So, it's likely the various schlubs who populate Trumplandia will be knowable to anyone with a little google Fu, including potential employers, gf's, neighbors, etc, and I suspect a measure of justice will be done.

While some villians will prosper as they always have, many Trump supporters will live their lives with a usually, but not always, invisible L tattooed on their forehead.

While I'll support any Dem in 2020, Warren is my favorite.

Sklansky is not a racist. But its not because he is a good person. Its because he doesn't want to appear stupid and he knows that being racist is stupid.

(Just thought I'd help out those who wanted to defend me against Clovis without actually complimenting me. Feel free to plagiarize.)

Imo it doesn't matter what the Trumpkin morons say about the Dem candidate. I don't necessarily think Warren is the best shot, but she does well with the Bernie crowd (independents and young people) and not bad with the Hillary crowd either. Hmm, maybe she is the best shot.

ok this was funny.

Thing is, Warren is the opposite of Trump. She understands law and government at the ground level and knows how to institute changes that will last. Booker, Beto, Bernie are all fine, but Warren understands the legal and financial architecture of society better than they do.

yeah people are going nuts here in oklahoma today about how she's gonna fail so hard, and it's hilarious that she would run.

meanwhile, i'm just like, we dont need ANY of your votes, not that they weren't ALWAYS voting for trump here anyway.

Every time Warren tries to talk policy in any depth I'm less impressed. And yes, she's annoying, don't @ me.

Sadly the Pocohantas thing will stick and her DNA test

The presidential election is a popularity contest. Unfortuntely I don't think Warren could win a popularity contest, even if her opponent was a bog standard Republican. She would be a great president but I don't think she can get elected president.

Well, that's unfortunate, because she's pretty much the top of the mountain, particularly when it comes to consumer finance, which is a big part of the economy. It's kinda like saying, "I'm less impressed with Newton when he tries to do calculus." Sorry, but that's as good as it gets. (In the 1680s, and disregarding Leibniz.)

If it comes down to Trump vs Warren my money will be on Trump at greater than evens.
12-31-2018 , 07:35 PM
I understand the concern vs Trump, but 1) I think Warren wears pretty well and 2) even if she doesn't make it past the line, she would be a solid VP or cabinet member (though perhaps the Senate is where she would be most effective).

She wants her issues to be a major focus of the Democratic primary. She's not necessarily running because she thinks she'll win. She has a policy agenda, and she wants it to be THE policy agenda.

Warren has too many liabilities now. She absolutely botched the Native American thing and that will come back to haunt her. She didn’t even do that great in her most recent re-election relative to the partisan tilt of her state.

I question the timing of this announcement also. It does not seem like giving the right or Trump a fresh foil is the best idea when they are losing the narrative regarding shut down and other things in the news cycle right now.

I don't think it really matters to anybody. It's like Hillary's emails. Just something racists talk about in an attempt to hide their misogyny.
12-31-2018 , 07:42 PM
Warren does not "wear well."

She animates and enrages stupid white people. Next.
12-31-2018 , 07:43 PM
It's the misogyny that will sink her if she runs against Trump.

Yeah but what about his obsession with alchemy? Can't be that smart. (This is me mocking the haters ITT. I would support a Warren/Newton's rotting corpse ticket.)
