hahahaha I predict this goes VERY WELL for Donald Trump et al
This part of the contract is invalid 100% of the time. It's like a gimme bar exam multiple-choice question.

They may highlight the "damages" to get over the $75k hurdle for federal diversity jurisdiction, but just claiming they should get $130k back does that. I suspect it was done for the client.

No exaggeration, you learn that liquidated damages clauses are unenforceable if not in proportion to actual damages within the first month of law school.

60 minutes interview will air March 25th, not this weekend. Stormy's lawyer was on a Josh Marshall Podcast extra today. Twenty minutes of cagily sidestepping questions but still saying plenty.

Rachel is saying that Trump & Kelly are putting out a false timeline for Tillerson's firing, to cover up his spontaneous firing on Tuesday. NBC's reporting that the State Department contradicts the WH version of the story.

EDIT: Yes, even the toilet bowl thing might be fake. Sorry.

Would love the back story on how Stormy found him. She's obviously not an idiot.
It's probably similar to how Hulk Hogan hired Charles Harder.

Hahahahahahahahahahaha Session statement

Quote:
The FBI’s OPR then reviewed the report and underlying documents and issued a disciplinary proposal recommending the dismissal of Mr. McCabe. Both the OIG and FBI OPR reports concluded that Mr. McCabe had made an unauthorized disclosure to the news media and lacked candor ― including under oath ― on multiple occasions.

LOL when was the last time GOP leadership said a ****ing thing about what's been happening the past few weeks? They give nary a ****. You had Ryan saying PA just elected a Republican. It's clear they willing to go down with the ship.

This is Putinesque. Truly insane. It's going to royally piss off the FBI.

Quote:
Attorney General Jeff Sessions late Friday night fired former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, a little more than 24 hours before McCabe was set to retire.
Sessions announced the decision in a statement just before 10 p.m., noting that both the Justice Department Inspector General and the FBI office that handles discipline had found “that Mr. McCabe had made an unauthorized disclosure to the news media and lacked candor — including under oath — on multiple occasions.”
If he loses his pension, this is literally taking like $1.5M from him on his last day of work. Apparently, he's a Republican, and he likely hurt Clinton, so f-him, but this is the real Trump, and the real Trump is mobster (or, more accurately, the son of a mobster who inherited his leadership position in the crime family). Also, Sessions was obv not willing to stand up for him.

BTW, Mueller has like 15 FBI agents on his staff, and I'm pretty sure they'd volunteer to work for free at this point.

Oh, also, Trump literally tweeted about McCabe, and he can sue and say his removal was political and not based on the disciplinary report. I don't know that area of law, but I'm 85% sure he'll win. That ruling will look very bad for Trump, assuming he's still in office.

i believe that if a blue wave does precipitate in november that trump will pardon a bunch of people, then resign, then beg pence for one last pardon. trump knows he's a criminal and if the democrats get subpoena power his whole family is gonna get exposed, his affairs with women are gonna get exposed. they could hold a new hearing every day on live tv calling witnesses under oath to talk about how much of a scumbag the president is, literally every day until the next election and it wouldn't even get repetitive

but he's gonna stick around at least until the election. if republicans hold both houses he'll stick it out because they'll protect him no matter what

Pretty much agree this is the most likely scenario, but it's like at 30%, because there are like 5 possible scenarios in play.

I always figured that McCabe going on leave then retiring was the result of a deal between Trump and the new FBI director the last time McCabe was taking heat.

Personally believe Trump is favorite against the field to finish his term, with the next most likely scenario being impeachment. Being the President has to be like crack for a narcissist.

I’m not a labor lawyer and know next to nothing about employment law but surely McCabe is going to find some of the best lawyers and file suit to get his pension?

Is this a win/lose scenario or can they negotiate and say he gets x% of a pension to settle?

HAHAHAH TRUMP 1 DEEP STATE 0
