Kennedy v. Louisiana

Do these ****ers even understand the law or do they just get a perverse pleasure from getting dunked on repeatedly in the public eye.

It's a dog and pony show for the supporters. Do you really think any sizable percentage of Trump supporters are going to bother to look up facts and figures for death penalty cases? They are going to take his word for it and move on.

Peace through wall-building.

But at least Hadrian was well-travelled.

Do I think his base will look up facts or case law? Absolutely not.

What I don't understand is Sessions giving prosecutors the green light to seek DP on drug traffickers, knowing full well that once it's shot down during sentencing or in appeal it's them losing yet again.

...due to UNELECTED ACTIVIST JUDGES.

They are getting their headlines. It's just another part of the ruse. Maybe they'll even take a few token cases to appeal for a few more headlines. Stop assuming the things they do are in good faith!

Its not even under the assumption of good faith, its being baffled by how short sighted they seem to be.

I believe the Mayans paid for it too!

Granted it's Bush, but did Trump just say a previous POTUS lacked smarts? Or "smarts"?

A dumber person than trump can simply not exist.

The good news is that the most important actions to prevent this from happening again today we have already taken years ago.
Like, uh, dude... I think maybe, just maybe, there might be a *more* important piece that results in it actually working so that it doesn't happen. wtf duh

Many GOPers support child rape so I’m not sure showing them Kennedy V. Louisiana will resonate.

It's almost worse than a literal brain surgeon being in charge of public housing.
Ya lol me for even considering she could be anything other than a rich moron.

So to the tennis ball question apparently quite a few people have walked around their lives thinking tennis balls are green. As someone who is fairly colorblind, even I know that is insane.

I had to debate if I was just being trolled but further investigation yields that many people erroneously think this. It came to a head recently when Roger Federer was asked, and correctly answered yellow.

I have to admit before today I had never heard anyone say that tennis balls are green. As a child I played tennis a lot and with tennis balls even more. We would use them for everything. The only time I have seen a non-yellow tennis ball is when I came across a super rare white one (and I guess they have some blue colored ones that are common dog toys).

Remember he had to go and basically have lunch in every state to learn stuff ("'I think the commonality is that in every community, there are certain entrepreneurs or leaders who really organize and get people motivated to go do stuff,' Zuckerberg said") and also find religion in his silly public transition into a viable political figure, so he's possibly been a bit distracted.

How is it losing? They only get what they want or their base gets riled up when a bunch of brainwashed leftists stop them from town square hangings. Too many keep getting this wrong, it's psychological not literal. The thought process won't be that they lost but those people that stopped them need to go and now it's justified to the public.
