I assumed the website was semi-legit but just checked it out. Nothing about the Gates plea on the front page. It's all about Trump doing an awesome job at CPAC, how the Parkland shooting was the fault of the government, Billy Grahm, a healthy amount of crime porn, and something about atheists ruining religious freedom.

Seems like a sketchy statement for a draft dodger.

It'll be interesting to see what Trump has to say in a few hours. Last weekend, he tweeted ballistically about the indictments of the Russians and the IRA, but has been suspiciously quiet about Manafort and Gates all week long. Too close to home?

We're missing the standard Twitter rants saying that the charges have nothing to do with the election, or that they cross his red line for money and taxes, or Mueller is into witch hunts and hoaxes. Conspiracy charges? "NO COLLUSION!"

Just dead air so far. It's like someone hacked his Twitter account to not post. Untypical Trump.

Oh, by the way, Parkland shooting survivor's family shops doctored emails with CNN to media outlets. Apparently Fox was pushing this story hard.

Like Obama said to Letterman in this year's Netflix interview: watching Fox News is like being on some other planet.

Like, what the ****? I don't know if this is worse than the idiots calling the survivors crisis actors or not, but it's making my ****ing blood boil.

Your fellow classmates just got ****ing massacred and you want to capitalize by scoring points on FOX news and taking **** to make CNN look bad?

I hope somebody takes away any guns this kid and his father may have because they are ****ing sociopaths.

What a scumbag. Breitbart has reported this and naturally the comments thread is just wall to wall nonsense about how CNN is fake news. This is the difference between liberal partisanship and conservative partisanship. Everyone is partisan, but conservatives are utterly incapable of ever admitting their side got anything wrong.

I know CNN won't sue, it would be a public relations disaster but could they? Corporations can be defamed, right? Does this amount to defamation?

In a just world, this guy would suffer serious penalty for doing something like that.

btw, as far as I can tell from the article, there's no suggestion that the kid was involved in doctoring the emails. The doctored emails were between a CNN producer and the father, and the Word metadata shows the father edited them.

I assume Chiefsplanet was all over this SCRIPTED QUESTIONS thing. Someone please report on how they react to the news that the dad is a liar.

I see National Review has restricted commenting rights to subscribers. I guess they got sick of deplorables correctly informing them that they are irrelevant in every comments section.

With the response from the schoolkids this last week and John ****ing Shuster and the US winning a gold medal in curling, for the first time in a long time I actually have hope.

Chiefsplanet didn't have much time to get wound up, the fraud was exposed shortly after the resident superdeplorable started a thread.

For these people mass shootings ARE the end goal of what they're doing.

Americans have an incredible capacity to miss the point. Let's assume every question in the town hall was scripted. So what? The questions were not point. The answers were.

It seems like in every single debate of any kind in America the actual point is completely ignored while two side rage about some meaningless side issue.

The whole issue of scripting is just idiotic. Do people really think Marco Rubio ad-libbed "they buy into my agenda," really? Marco Rubio?

I post on a forum (newagtalk.com) that has a politics section that sounds similar to Chiefsplanet. However, this week when they started defaming the students I ate the banhammer. You have to be logged in to read their politics section and I decided it would be better for my bp not to rejoin.

It would help motivate Democrats if a single elected official demonstrated half the passion, messaging competence and disgust of ****ing 17 year olds from Parkland.
