Fear vs empathy is the right vs left here.

Lindsey shooting bottle rockets out of his back door again

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) blasted a statement from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) criticizing a bipartisan immigration deal he worked on as "poisonous" and "ridiculous."

"The DHS press release is over the top. It's poisonous. I think its ridiculous and I've long since stopped paying attention to them," he said.

Graham added that any time the department is offered money for the border wall they should "say thank you."

DHS ripped a deal offered by a bipartisan coalition of senators, saying it "destroys" the department's ability to remove undocumented immigrants from the country and "ignores the lessons" of Sept. 11, 2001.
But somehow it's the Dems who "won't take yes for an answer."

Lindsey Graham is a douchebag, scumbag and all around piece of ****. Get ****ed, Linds.

I'm seeing reports that Steve Bannon is still refusing to answer House Intel questions, though he actually did bother to show up, finally. Meanwhile he's talked to Mueller for over 20 hours over several days.

He doesn’t seem to be brown. A story I read yesterday said he was adopted and his adoptive father died a long time ago and his adoptive mother died this past November.

How about we pay for first world education for our children before we turn our schools into armed camps?

It will be interesting to see if this actually happens.

Had the opposition party been in control of the committee it already would have happened to him and to Trump Jr and a few others, I think.

Senate fails to get 60 votes for immigration compromise that would have given $25 billion to border security/wall over 10 years and given protection to Dreamers

I can't find any data that shows how each senator voted but I imagine this one was mostly Ds with a few token Rs (story says 7 Rs cosponsored, vote was 54-45 yay)

Vox has it

Eight Republicans — Sens. Susan Collins (R-ME), Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), Jeff Flake (R-AZ), Lindsey Graham (R-SC), Cory Gardner (R-CO), Lamar Alexander (R-TN), Mike Rounds (R-SD), and Johnny Isakson (R-GA) — joined most Democrats to vote in favor of the proposal. All the other Republicans present voted no.

Three Democrats — Sens. Kamala Harris (D-CA), Martin Heinrich (D-NM), and Tom Udall (D-NM) — also voted no, apparently due to concerns that the Rounds deal conceded too much to President Trump on funding of the border wall and other immigration enforcement measures.
I sure as **** hope those Dems only voted no knowing it would fail.

Those few Ds voting No on the DACA for wall straight-up bills are idiots. It is neither more sensible nor more progressive to vote to deny citizenship to nearly two million over a stupid wall. It is a fail both as a practical vote and as a message vote.

Thanks goofy. Not sure why cspan couldn't be arsed to put that on their Web site.
