This doesn’t change the fact that she is a old shrill black lady who wears a hat so trumpets won’t care.

That tweet by Trump came directly from that bastion of journalism, OANN. He's literally tweeting chyrons from conspiracy networks.

I really thought the Sheriff Clarke tweet making fun of Wilson's hat would hold the irony yellow jersey for at least a whole day, but here we are.

To politicize this tragedy in the way the far right politicized Benghazi - in both cases with no evidence of wrongdoing - is a mistake. 24/n

is simply bc it wont work. the republicans are just too good at the media game.

I mean, it's not even that her reporting is even inaccurate here. The issue is that she's alluding to things that are not in evidence and asking her audience to wink-wink-nudge-nudge draw a conclusion from it. It's, at best, sloppy journalism.

Yes the GOP/FNC are better at that sort of thing, but they are equally good at firing up their minions when a report from someone like Maddow turns out to be a dud, and in doing so damage her credibility. Remember the fiasco with Trump's tax return? It plays right into their hands and is easily avoidable, especially with all the legitimately awful **** Trump and his staff do on an hourly basis.

Have you not been paying attention the last year? Literally anything republicans don’t want to be true is now "fake news," regardless of it being true or not. And their base eats it up.

Claiming accuracy is important these days is nonsensical, pre-trumpian thinking.

Kelly defending the loudest, emptiest barrel ever by saying the congresswoman made an event about herself gets an irony award honorable mention imo.

Yesterday Trump was BEGGING for an "A" grade from the PR governor. Maybe that's how he got through Wharton.

Noted Walleyed Gaslighter Sarah H. Sanders just doubled down on it

Edit: There's more

Presumably John Kelly is appropriately STUNNED

Looks like Sanders slept it off and is in fine form today.

I vaguely remember discussions of the Appeal to 4 Stars fallacy in philosophy but tbh I was stoned for most of that class

Every minute they spend asking questions about Kelly's lies is a minute not spent asking about how and why these 4 Green Berets are dead, and why the latest round of Rusher sanctions haven't been implemented. This clownshow is by design.

Out of curiosity, are you Czech? I always assumed you were American, I think from the former Buster Posey avatar if I'm remembering correctly. Condolences on your country's political future. At least you have a president to balance out the PM!

This is a big problem.

Whichever side takes that position the most (both sides do to some extent), loses.

lol, the hoops conservatives jump through to not have to acknowledge their side is worse.

"What happened to common decency and civility?", asks the party who elected the pussy-grabber and is working to restrict voting in as many states as possible

Like restricting voting and lying endlessly about your opponents?

DNC: "When they go low, we go high"
RNC: "Crooked Hillary did the Benghazi"
pokerodox: "both sides are the same, really"
