100% chance he retweets one of those "say your name is merry Christmas at Starbucks" right wing anger bear memes.

The Weinstein stuff is such a joke. Like sure he's a douche but this 'outrage' on the right that more Dems aren't denouncing the guy is pretty rich from a party that takes millions from people like the Koch and DeVos family, the latter of which ran a goddamn MERCENARY ARMY that killed civilians pretty much rampantly in Iraq.

When it comes to deplorable people in their donor list, the GOP probably has the Dems beat by a factor of at least 20.

Truth is a complete defense to libel and very often the testimony of the person who was harassed is the only proof there is. That surely was not the reason.

Even if Brad Pitt had been willing to damage his own career at the time by going public with accusations against Weinstein, he likely would not have done so unless Gwyneth Paltrow was on board with the idea. In other words, if she told him for whatever reason that she did not want to go public, what is he supposed to do?

In fact, I'm sure that BP and GP, like everyone else that Weinstein harassed or assaulted, quickly concluded that it was not in their interest to go public. And they probably were right. That's how he got away with this stuff for so long.

Didn't like half the Fox News staff get charged with sexual assault? Has anyone from the GOP condemned them?

I feel like I remember many Trump fans talking about boycotting Fox for firing O'Reilly

Weinstein is worse than a douche. It's starting to look like he is a serious criminal. Even so, I completely agree that I don't want to hear any outrage from people who made the morally indefensible decision to stand with Trump.

The NFL spat is because he loves getting attention. Regular governing doesn't get him that much attention but if he whines about the NFL it will be all over Fox News and Breitbart and it makes him feel good to dominate the news again.

I don't think it has to be one thing or another. Probably all of these things are true:

1) He has harbored a petty grudge against the NFL for more than a decade
2) He is incapable of avoiding Twitter rants about whatever issue happens to be blowing his hair back at the moment.
3) He isn't playing 3D chess, but his natural intuition pushes him in the direction of distracting people from his own mistakes and shortcomings.

the difference is liberals have a sense of shame. weinstein could have said "lockeroom" any time anyone brought this up and in 2 weeks people would forget and he'd be back to business

Maybe some of you guys are younger, but Trump has had it in for the NFL since the 80's when he owned the NJ Generals.

I'm legit surprised the NFL is caving in to him. I thought for sure they would chew him up and spit him out.

Among the things Trump ruined was the USFL. The dude is literally incompetent at everything. Everything except convincing no-nothing morans to vote for him. He also was dinged from consideration for buying the Bills a few years ago (bet his proposal was "no money down"). Also, I saw where he claimed in like 1985 that Jerry Jones way overpaid for the Cowboys.

Trump is a poop tornado and everything he touches dies.

I thought this was the Twilight Zone. In any event, there's a great TZ episode that has this as it's plot.

He never gets bored of his own name

Maybe the part right after, but not during his name

Trump wins regardless, owners about to buckle and decide that their players will stand and MAGA.

Has Trump ever had a real IQ test? I assume the ones he took had questions like

Donald (Blank) is the smartest kid in the 3rd grade.

A. Trump
B. Trump
C. Trump
D. Trump

Rules only apply to minorities like liberals or black people. When the president is a liberal black person, absolutely no rules apply to conservatives and pointing that out only makes them vote more racistly.

they arent really caving to trump. they are going with their fanbase, which overwhelmingly feels the same way as trump. also, look at their owners. they are old rich conservative white guys. ofc they agree.

and most players are either much more concerned with their livelihood, or are just focused on the task at hand, ie playing football.

and I do remember reading an article in the lead-up to the election that claimed something absurd like 99% of the white nfl players supported or would vote for trump.

I bet Trump took an easy online IQ test (or watched someone else do it- like one of his kids), wrote down the answers and then took it again and bragged about his score, printing it out, making copies and holding on to it for everyone to see.

not really true, FWIW:

as always, America, the actual nation of people, is blue. America sliced up, gerrymandered, and giving its rural residents substantially more say, is red.

Jerry Jones hopes this passes before his team takes the field.

BTW, the Cowboys are on a bye this week.

That seems like a lot of work when he can just lie and make up a nickname for anyone that questions it.
