And stupidity... ask anyone who paid attention in church and they would tell you they don't their church, they God and they people.

It reminds me of the church I went to as a kid; they had this huge steeple. The people running the church looked into the history and realized that it was so big because they were trying to outdo another local church back when it was built. They actually spent a few weeks worth of services discussing how that was wrong, how we shouldn't be concerned with the greatness of our church, and debating whether to tear it down in shame.

On North Korea lefties, let me guess? We are still wanting to hold hands and sing ****ing kumbaya with Kim Jong-Un and while we are at it, watch him bomb Japan and South Korea.

And we all know that this has been created because Obama didn't have a tight enough rope on him.

Till quite recently my parents lived in the Suffolk village of Eye, where they have this rather fine church: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eye,_S...ograph.org.uk_

Built with wool money, I should think, like most East Anglian parish churches. Doubt they've ever thought of tearing it down, as that would be just weird. What you can't see, behind the trees, is the site of the old priory, which really was torn down when Henry VIII abolished the monastic orders -- except the refectory, which is now part of the farm buildings. If you walk down the track past the farm, you come to the last three surviving dispersal pans and a stretch of the perimeter track of RAF Eye, the base which was home to the B-17s of US 490th Bomb Group in 1944-5. The bomber pans are just sitting there, all peaceful, between cow pastures.

Obama didn't pre-emptively strike N. Korea - guaranteeing deaths of millions of N and S Koreans and Japanese. Therefore Trump has to. Thanks, Obama.

Option 1: Strike North Korea pre-emptively, ensuring that he attacks South Korea, possibly Guam, possibly Japan and likely attempts to strike the mainland USA.

Option 2: Try to deter him through diplomacy and sanctions, engage militarily if he attacks someone.

So to be clear, you want the option where he definitely attacks our allies/us? While the kumbaya-singing pussy lefties want the one where he may not (and likely won't) attack anyone?

The real wusses here are the war hawk neo-cons who can't imagine living in fear of an attack from North Korea, and thus want to just get it over with ASAP and hope for the best. You are the scared ones.

Someone said that at the poker table the other day and I went off on like a 60-second monologue about how many mobile missile launchers North Korea probably has and how any pre-emptive strike is really a gamble on whether or not we hit the right ones, otherwise it's a lock they will launch a nuke at us, raze Seoul with conventional weapons that we can't get to due to mountainous terrain, etc, etc... While meanwhile KJU is less likely to be a madman than we are led to believe, that his quest for the nuke has more to do with his own survival/prosperity than much else, and that he knows using it is a death sentence for him and his people, so he has no reason to. The guy next to me, ex-Iranian military, was like "You're in the army, right?" He didn't believe I wasn't and I had to explain that I am a curious person and just read a lot.

Shockingly, people actually understood and started asking me questions to learn more about it and we had a pretty awesome conversation about politics and conflicts around the world. The usual response from the derposphere is just, "Whatever, we'll just hit them so fast and so hard they are powerless to respond USA#1 MURICA!"

Donald Trump said in January that he wasn't going to let North Korea get a nuke capable of hitting the US:

He told the world "don't worry guys, I got this" and within months it happened anyway!!! LOL Trumpkins, just the dumbest people on earth

Yeah a lot of people are still in the reasonable phase on this. But wait until conservative media goes on a first strike blitz. There will be no reasoning with them after that.
09-03-2017 , 07:31 PM
In Bundy's world we end up nuking North Korea. Sad sacks of **** are out of jobs when China decides we aren't bffs of the trade world anymore, and it still falls back to Obama for not miring the US into WW3.

Australia has a lot of deplorables who are on that level of thinking.

Obama had eight years, you can't blame him over eight months. THANKS, OBAMA!

(sarcasm on my part, of course)

(but the right will 100% say this)

The authoritarians have a lot of solidarity. Trump, Putin, Erdogan, Duterte. You'd think xenophobic nationalist movements wouldn't be so eager to bond with foreigners. But, I think it's more than just being ok with them as long as or maybe because they all know their places. I think there's genuine fascist to fascist affinity.

Live poker was crappy enough back in the day. I can't imagine sitting around with Trump idiots all day at a table.

bundy,

Steve ****ing Bannon agrees with the lefties that there is no military solution to N Korea that doesn't cause millions of S Korean deaths. Your hot take is so dumb that the chairman of Brietbart thinks it's stupid.

Isn't the right play to just ignore NK trolling while imposing the worst sanctions possible, ideally via China? Isn't their whole ****ty economy based on China?
