Has anyone pointed out to the pro arming teacher people that mass shooters are largely not rational and that an armed school does not pose as a deterrant?

The sicko crazed deranged mentally unstable logic-following animals will face hardened schools.

In intercepted communications in late January, the oligarch, Yevgeniy Prigozhin, told a senior Syrian official that he had “secured permission” from an unspecified Russian minister to move forward with a “fast and strong” initiative that would take place in early February.

Russia is literally attacking US troops in Syria

A cop showed up at the scene and took a position outside. He has resigned for not rushing inside and killing the guy.

he police officer assigned to Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School resigned Thursday, under investigation for failing to enter the building as a gunman opened fire and killed 17 people.

Sheriff Scott Israel said Deputy Scot Peterson should have “went in. Addressed the killer. Killed the killer.”

Video footage showed Peterson did none of that, Israel said.

“What I saw was a deputy arrive … take up a position and he never went in,” the sheriff said at a news conference.
Teachers are the answer though.

False. All irrational people (sick weirdos) will have their guns confiscated on the spot by newly-empowered school militia and police (and presumably be imprisoned delivered to a well-funded, really well funded actually, mental institute). Must always report such instances to authorities, again and again!

I can't blame the dude. I wouldn't go inside either. Fire my ass I don't care.

Maybe the good guy would be more likely to go in if the shooter didn't have a semi automatic?

But you didn't sign up to protect people, people can be pissed about his dereliction of duty.

I think you and Matty are on the same page.

I'm not going to crucify him without knowing the facts and being sure he's not getting scapegoated.

Not that it matters, but it's 100% that little donnie BS has a bone-spur flare up in that spot, even if trained and sworn.

IIRC one of the changes to school security protocol in response to Columbine was that armed school security guards are now tasked with entering the school immediately to confront and engage a school shooter.

I'm not crucifying him either, he's a coward not a monster. It's going to be hard live with.

No doubt. Also, I'm not trying to defend LE's performance at all. It does sound like there might have been errors on their part, as well as other services. Just expecting a lot of finger pointing by NRA and pols at everything other than gun control.

Lol so the deputy is a coward but teachers are expected to be Rambo. Story checks out. **** the NRA.
02-22-2018 , 10:12 PM
Yea the guard is going to get crucified now. But he is so outmatched with I assume a pistol vs an assault rifle. His only chance of success would be surprise. He probably just gets himself killed.

Which leads us to what we really need is all teachers with automatic machine guns, and 1 security guard with a tank at every school.
