I became I die hard Glock believer that day.
Oh, I know they are durable as hell and a great gun from a reliability standpoint, but I just flat out don't like the ergonomics of them. I certainly do not have anything against the gun other than "it's just not for me...."

Personally, I prefer a well setup 1911 trigger, however, I'm not willing to sacrifice all the reliability I'd have to give up with my Glock to get that 1911 trigger.
And that is cool. That is why there is a great market for guns. There is literally a gun out there to fit anyone.

This. Except I have never had much of a problem with them being "finicky" at all. Maybe I'm just lucky when it comes to that sort of thing, idk.

I've not had a single misfire or jam from my Taurus PT1911 and I've probably fired around 3000 rounds through it.

ETA: If I had the funds, I'd recommend bring about 10k rounds, that way we can ensure someone will jam or FTF.
But alas, brass is expensive.
Sample size, ftw.

My sig knockoffs fall apart in my hands in about 1 second.
I just took mine down in about 4 seconds, fwiw.
