Yes, as a liberal, I am perfect. That's why I went back to college at age 37, dismissed science by calling it fake news, and figured out that if we all support the Bourgeoisie, trickle down economics will make us prosper.

I honestly don't know what "gas lighting" is.
I find the dissonance between poker players and liberalism to be funny.
Clearly none of the liberals can deal with criticism of any kind.

Please, humor me, address my points if they are so awful,
should be easy to crank out in 60 seconds or less right?

Really? I've seen ChiefsPlanet (perhaps the political opposite of 2+2), and they don't have some sort of charming middle-America sense of humor about their conservative beliefs. They're ****ing douchebags and tell you to kill yourself and wish for the death of your family if you disagree with them. Why don't you go try your shtick over there, with some anti-Trump beliefs I'm sure you very strongly hold, to prove your theory that liberals are so much more uptight? Because I don't actually believe you.

Poker's actually the most democratic activity that I know of. In a public card room if you have the BI you get a seat w/o regard to a social or economic standing that might exclude you from the group in other circumstances.

This is late stage internet. I'm old as **** and can remember when people earnestly engaged these morons.

There's just so much fun to be had with these "both sides are evil" people, it never ends.
No, I just vote libertarian so both parties know there are votes out there they are not getting. I know it's essentially a wasted vote, but I've done dumber things . . . (like starting this thread?)

Perhaps look the term up instead of saying you don't know what it is by putting it in parentheses?

The guys offering to do this are so out-of-touch with reality already in terms of their mental strength it's laughable. I cant believe authorities havent stepped in and ordered it to end already . . . even though I'm a libertarian, so I'd be against that, people should be free to what they want to themselves, but still, I'm suprised no one has forced an end to it.
Dude won the bet though

Its a virtual lock this guy plays 1/2 in a hat and shades, tells the fish how they should have played the hand when he gets sucked out on, and shoots angles.

It's tough to make the case that the thousands of local 1-2 nlh tables are a net positive for the typical minimum wage worker who comes in with $200 every other Friday with a significant part of their paycheck and loses it, sure you can claim "entertainment value," but that's a bit of stretch when they could have spent it on community college courses towards an Associate's degree to improve themselves out of minimum wage situations

So supporting a system where $10K is redistributed (or $200 at a time) from the many to the few is just wrong and she built her life "on the backs" of that. (I know the SJW lingo)

She can do whatever she likes, I dont really "hate" her, I laugh at the incredible hypocrisy of her life. I think she is academically brilliant, an MIT degree is one of the top academic achievements possible. I value that degree higher than the Yale Law degree. In fact, I'll bet at 3AM when she is exhausted and her guard is lowered she would be wonderful to discuss life with in a one-on-one conversation when she knows no one is watching out for her to be a loyal member of the SJW tribe.

I laugh at the blind spot she has regarding her views contradicting her actions.
It's not uncommon.
The tech world in particular is filled with SJW's who made their millions and billions destroying the futures of poor people by creating phones/games/apps that have them clinically addicted to the point they cant pass a basic skills test and cant get a good night's sleep. These tech SJW's have dedicated their most productive years working on how to get teens to stay on their phones all day and click on ads so corporations can get rich off them.

I dont waste my time "hating" but I do love me some message-board-hypocrisy-exposing. It's entertainment to me.

I'm no better than anyone else . . . except maybe at finding the hypocrisy.
That's my thing.

I wish her well, and she is still young, give her 15 to 20 more years and she may look back at herself and think, "Wow, was I a judgemental, condescending piece of work back then"

Social liberal!
12-18-2018 , 12:04 AM
Poker is just a game.
12-18-2018 , 12:05 AM
Raistlin, how many people that play poker have no other choice but to play?
12-18-2018 , 12:10 AM
LOL dude obviously trying to get someone to say something bad about Vanessa based on his OP and it backfired.

OP, I'll hep yu. Vanesssa iz horribad. She stole my moneyz in 1/2 NL. I waz mad. Qhote me for truff.
12-18-2018 , 12:18 AM
How did this guy get in his head that liberals are opposed to taking money from other people? We ****ing love that ****. We just pick our spots.
12-18-2018 , 12:18 AM
@ OP, there must be some subreddit out there that teaches you guys this whole "Hello, fellow liberals!" gaslighting routine, and you need to know that it's boring patter and it's never once worked ever. Largely because you guys aren't smart enough to maintain the ruse for more than one post.

But the thing is, there's a valid argument to be made that online pokers is kind of a toxic ecosystem and anyone who's made serious money off of it has definitely exploited people with gambling addictions. I'm sure many people here have counter-arguments and I encourage you to come at me. But there's at least a ground level opening argument that you could make in good faith if you weren't so pathologically dishonest.

Next time try this, say "Hello, I'm a sociopathic Libertarian who thinks it's fair game to treat my fellow humans like prey, but how is it you liberals think it's okay to watch college football even though that industry is monstrous and exploitative?" That's a much more interesting approach.
