Well apparently I wouldn't know because I haven't been a part of that world for almost a decade. The point is that the act of playing poker for profit is parasitic - it's not personal. When I play, I am. When you play, you are. I'm not claiming to be a saint … I'm saying you're living in denial.

If you need the money to get by then you shouldn't feel any guilt about it. That's one of the reasons why I favor robust social safety nets.
