Lovett or Leave It is a ****ty show. Nobody looks good on there.

They chopped him pretty bad. Guy only spoke for something like 5 minutes. He supposedly was talking about how America should let Iran get a nuke (not sure of the specifics) and it was cut out completely.

Supposedly, the crowd was a general interest since it was at LA Podfest. Also, Felix appeared to hold back a bit. Crooked Media sells ads and I wonder if he was told to tone it down prior to going on or if they edited out the stuff that makes him funny. Wouldn't put it past the Johns to do that.

I’ve listened to too much Chapo to ever enjoy anything from the Pod Save America crew.

The Chapo guys are just consistently right, and funny too. Meanwhile the Johns are convincing Liz Warren to take ancestry tests and bloviating about how “access to affordable care” is the goal, or something.

Virgil on Current Affairs is great, become a patron.

The newest You're Wrong About on the great ebonics panic of 1997 is amazing. I had no idea this was such a huge story (there were congressional hearings!), and it's filled with all the typical racism and bigotry you'd expect out of middle class neoliberal America.

Damn dawg I didn't know about no Ebonics panic.

I mean there's no doubt that racism from that stuff is still a thing. The DEA was trying to hire Ebonics translators as recently as 2010 ffs. Imagine if cops in rural Mississippi had to hire translators to understand Southern vernacular. White Mississippians would be livid about it.

This. I suspect part of the problem is that PSA has to alter its content to not lose ad revenue while CTH was until last year the most successful Patreon creator on their platform.

That and the hosts of PSA are establishment hacks who need to go **** themselves.

Outstanding Current Affairs episode with Jane McAlevey on organizing vs. mobilizing (patreon). She attacks the prevailing wonk/cable news/West Wing view of politics where you need to stitch together candidates/policies based on polling etc.

Talks about how Nevada was flipped blue; you need to put the work in organizing for years, can't just knock on a few doors every 4 years in battleground states like the Democrats have been doing.

I’m not a big Chapo Trap House guy, but the latest episode (#306, 2 Cities 1 Cup) is amazing. They spend the entire episode destroying Ben Shapiro.

They spend 2 episodes bashing his other book, True Allegiance. Here's a compilation:

The True Allegiance eps were pretty good.
