It's weird how that works. Like Rod Dreher, for example, is a psycho who harbours fantasies of violently forcing people to use the correct bathroom, but honestly, I don't hate him that much. I think that's because I can perceive the forces that made him what he is and it seems like it's difficult to be Rod, so I have some sympathy for him as a fellow human being grappling with his existence, no matter how bad a job he's doing at it. But Meghan McCain starts droning on about her thoughts on religion and her great relationship with Jesus and my lawnmower is somewhere out beyond Neptune. Dinesh D'Souza is the same.
