"Tucker is someone who appreciates many points of view as long as they agree with his own. Sadly, the guest turned an opportunity to have a calculated, uninformative discussion into an obviously substantive, informative discussion. We were disappointed in the segment and respect our audience's operant conditioning too much to consider airing it."
in this instance I think Tucker was kind of willing to have a 'fair' discussion as the rest of the world would define it, as opposed to his normal ****box show, and this guy dunked on him.
I don't mean to yuck your yum here if you enjoy his show, but yes.
And the thing is, in I vacuum I mostly agree that comic books are low-brow junk food entertainment aimed at children*. But Mahr's intentionally being such a colossal dick about it. Why **** on comics on the eve of Stan Lee's death? That's not an interesting or funny take, he's just being obnoxious to get attention. It's like if Vin Scully dies and I use the occasion to tell everyone that baseball is a boring-ass kids game. I'd just be trolling.
Also, why is Mahr lecturing anyone on grown-up entertainment? Dude got his start telling Lewinsky blowjob jokes, spare me the lectures on highbrow culture.
So apparently the new rallying cry at Fox News is that Cory Booker is going to force veganism on all of us if he wins. Stockpile meat, America! Hannity says so... (Last couple minutes of the clip)
What comments about Muslims could would get Fox opinion host fired? Can you provide an "inflection comment", i.e something you think would make Pirro/Dobbs ~50% to keep their job?
Everything I'm sure they'd get fired for veers into criminal speech. e.g overt genocidal promotion. Below that I'm struggling to think of something I'm sure they'd get fired for - either it gets handwaved or Fox forces them to "clarify" their comments (perhaps with a suspension).
"A spokeswoman said the executive in charge of “Fox and Friends” is on vacation and not available for comment but added that altering photos for humorous effect is a common practice on cable news stations."
Chris Hayes is going in on Tucker Carlson with new homophobic and racist audio. What I don't get about this stuff is - wasn't it on a popular radio show? Did it not air back then? I keep hearing people say they "uncovered" this or whatever and then the credit is the "Bubba the Love Sponge Show" which I have actually heard of, and I assume had a pretty big audience.
I guess it's weird that it never got attention until now. Probably because things didn't "go viral" as easily back in the day. Or maybe he was less of a big deal than he is now.
