I have no idea how you guys are defending Reid. I'm very against the idea that 10 years ago it was completely cool to be disgusted by gay people. This wasn't 50 years ago. Will and Grace was already off of TV. We were supposed to be past that kind of thing. And even if, internally, she felt some revulsion to the idea of gay relationships, she should have known better than to legitimize those feelings by publishing them.
Ignoring all of that, her response to this shows a serious lack of ethics/honesty/judgment. It also reveals the contempt she must have for her viewers to think that they would be fooled by this kind of BS explanation.
“There appears to be a concerted effort to put a bunch of people on television, having seen those questions, and to say into the television — like this channel — ‘don’t do it Mr. President, don’t do it,” Smith said, referring to the recently leaked list of questions Mueller reportedly plans to ask Trump in a potential interview.
Reuters reporter Jeff Mason, a guest on Smith’s show, noted that Trump is known for watching television.

This is so infuriating. They all know he is a crook and a conman and a complete incompetent. Yet they all support him. How in the world do they expect to have any shred of credibility after this?
"Neil you proved today that you are a leftist liberal and a moron. I will no longer listen to your show. Ciao!" one post said.
"You just lost millions of Trump supporters today with your little rant on your president today Neil," another read. "Enjoy your low ratings!"
"We all know Trump isn't perfect but damn. Way to pile on," one user wrote. "Maybe we should go back and examine every word that comes out of your mouth."

Because their audience thinks lying to pwn the libs is virtue.
I think a lot of these guys are true believers who are also in it for the money. The two aren't necessarily mutually exclusive. In fact the sort of world view that Hannity promotes via his show sort of goes hand in hand with being a scummy dick who's more than happy to help cause real harm in the lives of others just to make a buck.
A POLITICO review of filings with the Internal Revenue Service and Federal Election Commission, as well as interviews and reviews of radio shows, found that conservative groups spent nearly $22 million to broker and pay for involved advertising relationships known as sponsorships with a handful of influential talkers including Beck, Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Mark Levin and Rush Limbaugh between the first talk radio deals in 2008 and the end of 2012. Since then, the sponsorship deals have grown more lucrative and tea party-oriented, with legacy groups like The Heritage Foundation ending their sponsorships and groups like the Tea Party Patriots placing big ad buys.
This isn't placing commercials with Fox News to promote Koch Oil Pipelines or something. It's money directly to Hannity et al for their content.
I saw a little bit of the Smerconish show today and he had quotes up on screen showing the c word unedited, which apparently you can't even do here. I thought he might have been doing it to make a point, because they had talked about how that was the last offensive word left, but apparently it may have been a ****up.
