What HDF doesn't get is that criticizing Stewart for being biased and letting that influence his show - even if we accept that there is such slanted coverage - is like criticizing U2 for publishing "Sunday bloody Sunday".

"Geez man, why doesn't that Bono dude sing about people killed by the IRA for a change. He is so biased and totally failing as a political commentator."

edit: old German guy ITT
Music has a clear liberal bias.

Nobody has done that at all... and I'm puzzled why there is any discussion. Basically HDF et al are saying "yeah well Stewart isn't a news agency." Nobody believes otherwise. I think HDF is saying Fox News has no obligation to be a legit news agency and most of us disagree. But, I'm not sure.

jiggs: in an unusual twist, in the last day or so pvn had several one word replies.

you may peruse the thread at your leisure

The Daily Show was so much better with Craig Kilborn.

You only think that because you're really old.

You guys are arguing with a person who attempted to suggest there's no obligation to be fair and balanced for a network that brands itself as fair and balanced. (you are also arguing with pvn)

lol at the look on O'Reilly's face when he twice mentioned Ron Paul's name last night. He looked like he holds utter contempt for him.

But it's Comedy Central, not Comedy Leftral so he has a responsibility to be neutral imo.

Jon Stewart is the smartest, most humane, most hilarious satirist working today, and ranks among the greats across the ages—Twain, Mencken, that other guy—and seeing you Von Rothbard ex-Conservatives or whoever you people are come in here to post your simpering and vacuous complaints: it makes me want to smash you into a fine powder and sell you to elderly Chinese gentlemen with erectile dysfunction.

Just sayin.

Watching libertarians/ACists circle the wagons to defend Fox News is pretty awesome

(Jesus, did I really click "submit reply" on that post I half-deliriously wrote last night after way too many episodes of Doctor Who?)

This is more like FNC containment thread.

I've been watching CNN morning program the last few weeks. I'm a big Kiran Chetry fan, she's a great journalist... yeah. She's been absent the last few days and the show has been unwatchable.

If by "Journalist" you mean small framed, thin boned, hard bodied piece of ass id love to dominate for 40 minutes in a hotel room.

We seeing eye to eye brah.

Betty Nguyen can hold the flip cam btw.
