What a loss to Beck's ego, the highest rated on the lowest rated medium. Even a cancelled network sitcom or drama had a larger audience. Still fun for the yuks.

I think most of his audience is old people, crazy people, and interns watching for highlights.

Comedy Central needs Fox programming, not just Beck but Kelly as well. My nightly yuks will suffer if they ease towards.............rationality.

"America's Third War". I never thought I'd hear those words used in such a negative light on Fox News.

Lol, i cant work out the Republican line on Libya. It seems they are criticising him for getting involved and they are also are criticising him for not getting involved fast enough.

Trying to reconcile conflicting objectives is hard.

It's amazing that you all think the bad guys are the Republicans in all of this, when Obama is President and is doing the very thing he criticized Bush for while he was a senator. There's plenty of hypocrisy on both sides.

The "TDS gives liberals a free pass" crowd would love tonight's episode:

Quote:
Aasif Mandvi: If this is a real war, the administration would have some real issues to deal with, because as one constitutional scholar stated emphatically in 2007, "The President does not have the power under the Constitution to unilaterally authorize a military attack in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat to the nation."

Jon Stewart: Wow. I didn't realize...who said that?

AV: Well, it was a fresh-faced senator from Illinois...a Barack Obama. He was talking about Iran, I think he was a one-termer.

goofy you need to swap your undertitle and location imo

not even remotely the same, sorry.
bush's invasion of iraq was a unilateral, pre-emptive strike on a country based on faulty intelligence.
this current operation involves many different countries acting under a UN resolution, defending a people from their lunatic dictator.

UN >>>> congress?

When you can get the UN to agree something is worth doing, 99/100 its a pretty awesome idea.

To watch the about face moves is a Daily Show staple. The latest is the Indian Point power plant. On Fox they had a segment on the potential issues in case of an emergency. The graphic showed the 10 mile radius, and then an overlay of a 50 mile evac zone as was recommended/demanded over Americans in Japan. If that plant went critical, does anyone think Manhatten residents would ever leave the city?

Back to Libya, the war mongers have been demanding action from the "ditherer", yet now that action has started he was supposed to wait. Them same idiots are whining about a downed plane. **** happens when war planes are flown, they either crash or get shot down. Go play Grand Theft Auto if you want to stay clean

News like this, that brings forth evidence supporting my claim (and many other's) that FOX is a propoganda tool, gives me a raging hard on!

I dont watch Fox. But that impression is from Drudge, which is probably worse.

Russia's President denounced the action. Russia's PM denounced the President. Its rare for Russia to not have one voice on a subject but dont think their abstaining means much other than them not being committed enough to veto any action.

From the BBC live feed:

Quote:
1516: Were journalists used as human shields by the Libyan government to ward off an attack on Col Gaddafi's compound? The row rumbles on. CNN is angrily denying claims by the rival Fox news network that CNN correspondent Nic Robertson and other journalists acted as human shields, AP reports. On Monday, Fox claimed that UK forces called off an attack on the Libyan leader's compound because journalists were there on a government trip to see earlier damage. CNN denies this, pointing out that Fox sent a security guard with a camera, rather than a correspondent or camera crew, on the same trip. Fox has now admitted it sent a representative, but stands by the human shield charge, AP says.
