You [OOPS, I GOT BANNED] criticize anyone on the right any time they utter a phrase you deem inappropriate. But when someone you agree with does it they are speaking truth.

You PC language nazis and the media matters / Steward collaborators are the real problem.

Come on O'Reilly is a lunatic??? You have no idea what you are talking about and are just parroting Stewards nonsense.

1. Megan Slutty: WE NEVER SAY NAZI ON FOX

2. Stewart, with evidence: yeah, you do

3. Nick_Van_Exel: STEWART SAYS NAZI

I support the medias right to make Nazi analogies. The babies in the media police like Steward can't handle it.
01-29-2011 , 03:45 AM
Again, the only reason he even mentioned it on his show was Megan's assertion that nobody on Fox made democrat = nazi analogies.

The implication here is that you agree that Megan whatshername was lying or wrong. Cool. Next topic.

You know who else accepted the media's right to make nazi analogies? The Nazis.

"Success" = "not being an idiot." Again, and again, and again, you pop into every thread where somebody calls a famous person an idiot and claim that they cannot be idiots because they are successful. Is there a famous person you would identify as an idiot, or is it actually impossible to be an idiot once you have achieved success in anything?

Is Plaxico Burress an idiot? He's had quite a successful football career, right? Or perhaps he cannot be an idiot because he is merely using his body, a different skillset entirely?

How about Lindsay Lohan or Kim Kardashian? Are these people idiots? Aren't they wildly successful? Is there overlap between actors, media icons, and (gulp) even politicians? Is it possible that there is a certain skillset to becoming a media icon that could coincide with being an idiot (before even considering the qualities of the audience)?

Are you listening, listener?

In actual fact, its more like you can't handle it. Bill'O uses the term "Loon" to describe anyone he disagrees with. He's done that for as long as I can recall.

This was the heart of the matter with the Kelly clip, and then reinforced by the O'Reilly clips. To state categorically that "we" don't do that, and then see many cases of the use over and over and over is the hypocrisy in action.

Although, since you seem interested in getting into it, (wild audience applause) the court will allow your witness!

First of all, let me say this. Two things. One, that was a horrible thing for someone to write. And whatever vicious loser, or if I may, put it in your parlance, pinhead, whoever wrote that deserves condemnation. In fact, television condemnation. But being a heartless douche isn't exactly the same as being a Nazi propagandist. And number two, the quote that you're using was from a commenter on a blog post. I'm not sure that you want to go down the Nazi road, when you're judging an organization by the worst things that have ever been posted on that organization's website.

Will the court allow Exhibit B? This is from FoxNation.com, TODAY, from "obammablows".

23 people liked this!

As truly horrible as these blog posts are, that doesn't make even the people making these comments Nazis, or akin to Nazi propagandists. And it certainly doesn't make you, or the moderators at FoxNation.com, Nazi sympathizers, Gestapo, brownshirts, or people who play Castle Wolfenstein and root for the wrong team.

So my point was, contrary to what your colleague Ms. Kelly was suggesting, that Fox commentators do use Nazi analogies, and your point seemed to be, "Yeah, but I had a good reason." The problem with that is, everybody thinks they have a good reason. Steve Cohen thought he had a good reason.

It's like speeding. I yelled at Steve Cohen for speeding. Megyn Kelly yelled at Steve Cohen for speeding, and then she said, "Good thing we don't speed."

And I said, "Look at all them ****ing people speeding right there!"

And then you said, "You took that out of context! I was late!"
(wild audience applause)

I gotta tell you, Bill, I gotta tell you, I gotta tell you, you're late a lot!
Feel free to continue to justify your actions while they conflict with your moral message, but isn't that the core principle of............wait for it, hypocrisy. And in the words of big daddy Bill O'Reilly, that makes one a pinhead. Or a loon, which I believe he uses as a short form of . lunatic.

Dude you just don't get it. Twilight: Eclipse made over $300 million and obviously got robbed of a best picture nomination.

Did you guys know that Spike TV has more viewers than MSNBC?

Oh, and what's Keith Olbermann up to these days? Smoking cigars in his bathtub and plucking his eyebrows?
02-01-2011 , 09:55 AM
I found it amusing that last night O'Reilly opened with the health care ruling rather than Egypt.
02-01-2011 , 11:10 AM
As did Morning Joe today.

I just want to say I've tried tuning to "The Ed Show" a few times in the past week or two, and have found it impossible to stay on the channel more than about 30 seconds.

I have no idea if the show is any good; but for some reason, I have no patience to watch long enough to figure it out.

Sergeant Shultz's show is usually 50% dedicated to discussing Fox News and Rush Limbaugh. He's actually quite obsessed (possibly sexually) with those two entities, actually most of MSNBC is. So you might be better off just watching Fox or listening to Rush and getting it first hand instead of a 2nd rate commentary.

I used to watch the opening to see if there was a guest worth the spew. A couple of times, but for the most part he's a huge windbag huckster of his own brand. The progressive Hannity.

Of the radio turned TV hosts, he hasn't toned down the rhetoric. FOX Beck is a mild man compared to radio Beck. Radio is always an over the top medium, the callers are super partisan for the most part, and some become regular "guests". I once got through on a local open line radio show, must have tried 100's of times with a busy signal over a few months. How some of these other guys get on once a week or more is beyond me. I remember one day, this same guy managed to get his message read on each show over the course of 1 day. Same canned speech 4 times.

Tonight on The Daily Show: MICHAEL STEELE

Hilary: expected

MSNBC showed prison documentaries during prime time instead of covering the story

Wow, so you're saying they both suck? That's a first for you, NVE, and a big step!

Well done.

Fox does not suck neither does MSNBC. O'Reilly spent the next three segments of his show discussing Egypt
