You guys keep saying this and that the cable networks should not show her speech.

You have to realize Bachman represents 10s of millions of Americans like me. We all saw the power of the right / tea pary in the last election. Bachman is a moderate and Obama is the one that is crazy

If your idea of fun is taking a joke that WAS pretty well received and then going through the trouble of making a segment about how it was NOT well received, and then editing out the laughter and adding crickets........then I don't think I can help you.

Don't get me wrong, this is not an issue that anyone should get worked up over. It's just another normal day at F! Entertainment Network.

You have to admit that the producers of Fox News do a great job how they select so many hot women to be their contributors! Brilliant!

Shannon Bream, Jaimie Colby, and a few others of the 2nd tier are terrific. Hopefully that blowhard Kelly doesn't return after she calves.

What is up with the scrolling list of names on msnbc? Sargeant shriver, Geraldine Ferraro, Sara palin, etc, a long list

Nobody's acknowledging it and I can't figure a connection between the names

Also can't figure why they'd scroll the names over and over like this

Im not on drugs but I'm freaking out

I didn't catch the beginning of that segment, but I think they're all former VP candidates that lost? I know I saw Bob Dole and Jack Kemp listed too...

ahh, yeah ok that makes sense. i showed up after the explanation and they ran it for a while without talking about it, it was creepy.

i felt like rowdy roddy piper in they live, and the subliminal message dampering machine was busted or something.

Sweet, no Beck today on fox. They're giving Shep an extra hour to cover Egypt

Amy Chua, the no nonsense mother who wrote a book about discipline, was too scared to take O'Reilly's questions, was how he whined about why she refused to come on his show. He may have a big draw, but the man is a lunatic with a capital L. Unless he agrees with you.

That clip where Stewart destroyed Bill'O was great.

That clip where Stewart destroyed Bill'O was great.
He was talking about the protests today in his talking points. He said that if Egypt tossed out the regime then the muslim brotherhood will take over. Then they'll take over Jordan and Yemen, and it'll start off WWIII

Your criticism of O'Reilly is just dumb. Calling him a lunatic just makes you a blind partisan.

He has guests on from all political ideologies and is cordial to them all .You clearly do not watch the show.

MSNBC and Steward have made nazi analogies just as much as fox.

I'll give you points over that buffoon bill"O, he's a hypocrite, while you really believe what you do. That is an admirable trait. But when you defend the king of blathering idiots, you lose some points nick.
01-28-2011 , 10:53 PM
There are several commentators on Fox and on MSNBC who I do not like for one or more reasons. But to call any one of these very successful people an idiot is foolish at best. It sounds like sour grapes.
01-28-2011 , 11:08 PM
blathering buffoon would have ruined the flow of the paragraph ( the word was already used). A little style whilst lambasting a Fox talking head is normal course of business.

That wasn't the point. Megyn Kelly said Fox never made any Nazi analogies. John Stewart pointed out that she was in fact wrong with examples (one of which being Bill O'Reilly). O'Reilly responded, saying he was correct in his use of a nazi analogy.

Stewart wasn't arguing whether or not the use of the analogy was appropriate, but was proving that Megyn Kelly was wrong about fox's use nazi analogies. It's irrelevant whether or not anyone else does the same thing because no one else made the ridiculous claim she did.
