My gf's sister got me a book by Brian Kilmeade about the Barbary Wars or something for xmas a couple years ago, knowing I like history. I have to imagine she doesn't know who he is. Her intentions were good but I can't bring myself to open it.

hall of fame bad tweet

imagine being a political reporter amid a national children-in-government-concentration-camps crisis and being upset that some congressman's wife isn't going to have a picnic with the president. it's the highlight of their summer guys! what kind of total ****ing lizard person scum thinks like this

unbelievable

on the bright side, they probably had orders to cook all those steaks well done anyway, so they belong in the garbage now.

This is basically it written out

“As Nancy Pelosi steps over the homeless people in San Francisco to hop on a plane to go to the border to have a heartbleed(?) for people from other countries that are coming here, understand we are $20 trillion in debt, we have cu-classrooms that overrun, we have teachers buying their own supplies, these kids come in, fantastic Oprah Winfrey! I’m glad you’re upset about it but where these kids get fanned out to working class neighborhoods into our society and then they have to be paid for by English is a second language and then they got to be schooled and a lot of them umm sadly when in my neighborhood turn into uhhh uhh uh MS-13”

I mean just wow
Calling that Conservative slam poetry is a pretty good line.

What drives me up the wall is Conservatives purposefully immiserate the working poor and then complain that that immiseration is why we can't do anything for immigrants.

We have teachers paying for their own supplies? That's because we've cut education and never gave teachers raises. We have homeless because we've cut affordable housing and mental health. The debt? THE DEBT? A CONSERVATIVE IS GOING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THE DEBT AFTER THE REPUBLICAN TAX BILL?? Seriously the pure narcissistic shamelessnes would be amazing, if it didn't mean they are terrible human beings.

Actually the very first line I heard when I turned on this show (I believe it's "The Five"?) was, "I'm going to defend ICE for a minute" from former MTV VJ Kennedy, who I remember as actually being kind of cool when I was like a freshman in HS. Hell, maybe she still is cool, someone's got to defend NEVER MIND

I guess I've somehow been ignoring this show. This host, Jesse Watters, is an amazing idiot. The best way I can describe his presence is pancake batter at its birthday party. Hear him talk for 10-15 seconds and you'll think, "I wonder if this guy has ever totally ****ed up some story, like career-ending type stuff" and you're right!

"In October 2016, Watters was criticized for a segment of "Watters' World" that was widely considered racist toward Asian Americans.[14][15][16] In New York City's Chinatown, Watters asked Chinese Americans if they knew karate, if he should bow before he greets them, or if their watches were stolen.[15][17] Throughout the segment, the 1974 song "Kung Fu Fighting" plays in the background, and the interviews are interspersed with references to martial arts and clips of Watters getting a foot massage and playing with nunchucks.[16][17]"

Spoiler:
In October 2016

These people talk a ton about conservative values though so at least

"He is married to Noelle Inguagiato Watters.[1] They are parents to twin girls.[29] According to news accounts published in March 2018, Noelle Watters filed for divorce in October 2017, after learning her husband had an affair with a 25-year-old producer working on his show.[30] Watters informed the network of his relationship shortly after Noelle filed divorce papers.[30] She was transferred to The Ingraham Angle, and she and Watters continued to date."

Sorry about the venting, but for some reason I don't know if I've ever seen more than 10 seconds of this show, and this guy has now shot up to top five most punchable faces on TV IMO.

don't even know if he's top five punchable faces on Fox news

It's like first team all-NBA, these are very tough decisions. Don't let anyone add someone in that top five without saying who they'd take out.

Had to go back for more. Patrick Kennedy on Tucker Carlson's show railing against the destructive and exploitative monster that is marijuana was great. He informed the viewer of these sinister new "edibles" and how legal pot will of course be horrible in so many ways I lost track. Tucker started laughing after a while and I thought wow, this guy went off the rails so much that even the host is laughing at him but he immediately added "I agree with you one hundred percent!" and that's Fox News, fair and balanced.

Only caught about 3 minutes of Lawrence interviewing a clearly unwell Tom Arnold. He may have been trying to break some new Trump gossip, but I found it really disappointing from Lawrence.
06-22-2018 , 11:09 PM
he said multiple times that he's not ****ing around, but it just seemed a lot like he was just ****ing around

Conservatives vs liberals on media bias

06-22-2018 , 11:51 PM
I don't understand how Vox is so high (relatively unbiased) on the Republican one, but the highlight is definitely Breitbart being less biased than AP and PBS News
06-23-2018 , 01:44 AM
Pete Hegseth also exceptionally punchable
06-23-2018 , 02:00 AM
Guess FOXNews isn't far enough to the right for deplorables.

they feel the wsj is one of the very few unbiased publications in the world but they sill don’t believe the stories printed in the wsj which are negative about donald trump

they love the quotes from the opinion page that get repeated on fox news tho
06-23-2018 , 01:40 PM
The WSJ opinion page, a complete disgrace for my entire life, and surely before, has gone full Brietbart in the last 18 months.

They really just are nuts and their views have no real basis in reality. It's not like they're rational but keep their thumbs on the scale to get their tax cuts, they really just have no clue.
06-27-2018 , 10:54 AM
I legit think that many of them are thinking the pollsters are asking about vox day, the virulent white supremacist. "Oh yeah man, vox is great!"

Conservatives think that CNN is more liberally biased than Mother Jones?

The ignorance never ceases to amaze me.
