How Doug Ford turned the OPP into the Ontario Premier's Police

Seriously stupid people asking the OPP to cook their books and buy Dougie a camper van. But also seriously, it demonstrates just how fragile Ontario's democracy and institutions actually are. One ignorant sociopath comes into power and suddenly the integrity of the OPP is hanging by a thread, by the ethics of a single officer.

He is the preferred candidate for fascists and white supremacists, with a history of voter fraud, sexism, lying and grifting, and during the campaign his supporters chanted "Lock her up," about his opponent. Why wouldn't anyone vote for him?

Dont think I'm quite so fascist as I am pro small government, low taxes and low regulation. The debt was spiraling out of control, and while Doug doesnt seem to be doing much to fix that (yet), there was no hope with the other 2 clowns.

Overall I'd say he's doing worse than I expected, but still significantly better than the best possible outcome from the competition.

Lol at this being significantly better than having an adult in charge of Ontario. Grow up, Dofo has shown nothing but contempt for Ontarians. His meddling in HydroOne is going to cost us hundreds of millions in penalties and our provincial credit rating has just been downgraded. Now he's cancelling public appearances and scurrying from the media in a bid to avoid answering for his behaviour. Our premier is a cornered rat.
