Olds, dude. They kept Chuck Norris on the air for like 30 years of identical episodes.

NCIS. The corpse of mark Harmon has been acting the same scene for 20 years and still making old ladies moist.

So I know I'm late to the party on whether or not Kanye is a rap Mozart or not debate, but I fired up some of his **** on Spotify tonight. I've always contended that College Dropout is one of the better rap albums of my generation, and I think this iteration of listening confirmed that. But damn, Late Registration and Graduation were pretty weak this time around. And God knows I'm not listening to any of his post-deplorable ****.

Better artist, better album, and w/o all the bat****-insane self-promoting douchiness.

But I'm old so personally I'm partial to N4L and Bum Rush the Show. Maybe it's all about the first rap album that really speaks to your white boy soul .

If Beastie Boys count - Paul's Boutique was my last favorite album when I still had a favorite album. I still love it but Check Your Head seems to have aged better.

And while we're on the subject of white boy rappers - holy crap has Eminem quietly put together an amazing body of work. Dude just keeps going like the energizer bunny.

Wu-Tang Clan is GOAT rap group. Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) is possibly the best rap album of all-time.

Solo stuff by Raekwon, ODB, and GZA was elite too.

Checking in with my friend's deplorable mother-in-law:

She's sick of politics guys. Maybe a good sign I dunno.

lol you literally grew up in the nut lo era of rap music

if you weren't listening to rap in the mid 90s, then nobody cares about your opinion of kanye or anything even remotely hip hop

all this, and dont forget ghostface. bobby digital was sick too.

my dream is for a full orchestral symphony to re-create the beats from the forever double disc in a concert hall with attendees in tuxedos and ****

nas and wu tang both obviously fell off a bit towards the end of their careers, but who doesn't. their early material will always stand the test of time.

**bonus pro tip**

most underrated wu tang or wu tang affiliated rapper- la the darkman

and if anybody is interested in some vintage studio raps/appearances from wu tang, busta rhymes, fat joe, and other east coast legends, there was an old zoo york skateboarding video from back in the 90s called "mixtape" that was a bunch of street skating in NYC area spliced over these legends spitting in the studio, that was my ****!!!

Yes, and I'm sure it's not a popular position.

And then a Nixon flunky realized he could use a "news" outlet for right-wing propaganda and few people would be able to tell the difference, and thus Fox News was born.

I remember the first time we got to play Halftime on vinyl on the radio (we had been playing the bootleg cassettes for months). We locked ourselves in the studio hotbox, fired a few up, and mixed it in every third or fourth record. When we came to the guest DJ's crew had made off with a crate or two of our records.

Conservatives most definitely accused Cronkite of liberal bias back in the day.

I still rock King Tee every few months. Sup.

Spoiler:

Busta Rhymes is the most underappreciated rapper of all time.

My friend had a dream that we were fleeing the country in some sort of endgame nightmare scenario. Trump's secret police finally were coming for us all etc. And apparently in her dream I suggested, in the midst of our escape to Canada or whatever, that we should stop and get a few mimosas.

So much to say about this letter.

Is that the lunatic font? I assume they will pull their kids because being in a position to have a healthy relationship with a person of color is going to make it much harder for them to get their kids to go full racist.
