Strange to hear people associate Europe's current economic woes with Keynesian Economics. AFAIK Keynes advocated cutting spending and deficits during periods of growth and raising spending during recession. Pretty much the reverse of recent European economic policy.

We spend like $300 million a day in Afghanistan. That would pay for a lot of pretty good things, instead of being used to murder people on the other side of the world.
