That's HCF, one of the 3 resident nutjobs - along with BEP and TacoJohn. They're basically the woman in that WaPo article.

What arguing with a Republican is like (minus the surprise ending)

Ok, she wins. It IS 1-2-3-5.

At this point the Steele dossier author looks downright incompetent, its so much worse.

If you take the pee tape stuff out isn’t it like 100% verified at this point?

Pee tape will eventually make the survivor poll.

A bunch of the dossier is unproven still but all of it is extremely plausible and a lot of it fits with later-confirmed facts. The recently-confirmed fact that Cohen was engineering a cover-up during 2016 is in there. You can read the allegations here.

So, on a scale of 1-10, how rustled is CP? I'd set the over/under at at least 13.

Kinda all over the map. Surprisingly more fans supporting the move to release him then I thought there would be. My CP updates are in the SE NFL thread: https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/4...018-a-1722523/

Bush Sr. died. First thought was Willie Horton.

Wonder if I had George H.W. in my OOT Celebrity Death Pool.

He sure did liberate the **** out of, um, whatchamacallit. You know, that tiny, rich country. Southeast of Iraq. Important because... idk. Reasons. But we sure did respect the heck out of their sovereignty. And because of that, today that country is... I have no ****ing idea. It's still there, I think? Doing... stuff? Oil things?

Anyway, we did that. Led by George H.W. Bush. And because of his bold leadership, we continue to be a country that did things under the first Bush administration. God bless America, and god bless that guy who served his one term way back then.

Bush Sr. was the guy who snapped me out of my nihilistic "both sides are exactly the same mannnnnn" apolitical funk. I was like - holy **** we can actually go to war. Even if it's a short slaughter. It's still war. **** matters.

Rachel Maddow has a podcast called Bag Man. It's about how Nixon's VP Spiro Agnew was taking bribes in the White House, and how it would have been the biggest political scandal in the history of the universe, but it was completely ignored because of Watergate.

Even after the Watergate scandal was over, the papers about the Agnew corruption scandals gathered dust in various archives, and just recently came to light. Part of the scandal was the president and his people trying to get a Republican senator to influence his brother, the US Attorney in charge of the Agnew investigation. This US Attorney had turned the investigation over to two young prosecutors who, to the consternation of all involved, were actually doing their job!

The person they got to approach the senator to get his brother to squelch the investigation was the chairman of the RNC, George H. W. Bush. Just a little light obstruction of justice.
