I guess I have nothing new to say in this thread.

I won't participate further unless someone either asks me a question or libels me.

I never thought of abortion clinic protestors as much more than people trying to intimidate scared girls from getting an abortion. My church used to try and get people to go stand there lol.

Shoulda stuck to my initial read until given more reason not to, but also, when I said there were 2 data points, I forgot the post where he said, "Hmm, interesting" in response to my paraphrasing of the anti-kneeling sentiment. That was a solid 3rd data point.

Anyway no excuses, I'm too damn gullible on the internet.

Have you seen the abortion rate for pregnant black women?

I make no apologies for being anti-murder.

Please show me where it says that a person has a "right" to murder somebody.
Maybe you should be protesting for more free birth control and better sexual education in schools than protesting against the rights of women.

Literal Nazi isn't banned yet. Adios gets to troll around without consequence.

I'd be open to engaging conservative posters if they didn't argue in such bad faith.

There is nothing to conservatism other than bad faith and white nationalism and taking from the poor to give to the rich.

And if only we got rid of the libtards, everyone would be rich!

The entire Republican Party operates in bad faith. Republicans can't argue in good faith without renouncing or at least condemning their own party's behavior.

It tells you everything when people like Mitt Romney and David Frum look like super reasonable and sane characters in the cartoons of political discourse today.

He added, "If the athletes have friends of theirs or people they know about that have been unfairly treated by the system, let me know."

a thought for the few. what if terrel owens comes out and says the reason he does not go to canton is because he stands with colin kap..... do you think the media would now say that terrel owens is a other protester of the same ilk as colin k?

Be born into extreme wealth and be incredibly self-centered.

So wait, someone told Trump today the reason why athletes are protesting and he's like "Hmm...that sounds like a good reason to protest."?

It's amazing how dumb Trump is. He criticizes the players for protesting, but then he says this:

Quote:
"I'm going to ask them to recommend to me people that were unfairly treated -- friends of theirs or people that they know about -- and I'm going to take a look at those applications," he said. "And if I find, and my committee finds, that they're unfairly treated, then we will pardon them or at least let them out."
If he is serious about the quote above, then he of course is reinforcing the effectiveness of the very protest that he has criticized for months.

Trump probably believes that the he can force other countries to accept U.S. citizens that he wants to exile from the U.S. The distinction between president of the U.S. and king of the world is a nuance that he doesn't entirely understand.

I took it as Orange saying that (naturally) pro football players have criminals for friends.

Oh I'm sure he believes that too.

Its a bad look to have paid professional athletes kneeling for the anthem in protest on national and international TV. I don't blame Trump (a.k.a the American people) or the NFL owners for doing something about it.
