Fly, as much as I hate to profile people by religious beliefs, most of the actors involved are Mormon. I tend to believe they are pretty honest folks, most of the time.

Yeah I somehow doubt that a guy who repeatedly said he would rather die than go to jail became a docile little pussycat when he and his boys were getting arrested. Still, if it somehow did turn into a brazen execution then yes you obviously want the agent charged. It would probably be an uphill climb given the reasonable expectation this dude was going to start ****, but we'll see I guess.

Mormons out West have long, long running beef with the feds for a variety of reasons. If you think their religion puts them beyond disseminating propaganda for their cause, then I don't know what to tell you. Just floating this out there right now is going to be enough to convince anyone with any sympathies to them that it was an execution barring serious evidence otherwise.

Hell, someone just posted this to his youtube account saying that he was on his knees with hands up and they need more people and arms because they're going to be raided at any time:

Noze that could well be, they have also been known to dress like Native Americans and kill off whole wagon trains of settlers.

This is just what I'm hearing. I thought it might be of interest to the folks here. I can't confirm the accuracy of any of it. Worst thing I've heard is that since the Feds have drawn first blood, the people left in the "compound" are going to make a stand.

If we can't believe a second hand Facebook account of an implausible self serving coversation between a violent felon and a complete lunatic about a member of a violent militia surrendering peacefully to government forces than what can we believe? That's what the "reports" say and it's certainly more reliable than the video we had with all those other no angel victims. They're Mormons after all!

When you have groups like inner city black youths and white western ranchers all this po'ed at the government that they feel is steamrolling them and they can't get relief in the courts or the political spectrum, I would say we have a huge problem at the moment.

Right or wrong, they have grievances that arent being addressed. This is their way of drawing attention to it to the public at large. Kind of like looting a CVS. And I didn't get the purpose of that before, but I'm starting to understand. You have to work with what you have.

I'm gonna feel more comfortable about the justification when the reports come out that the guy known to be armed and said he wouldn't be taken alive was reaching for his waistband than when unarmed black kids supposedly do the same.

I think you lose the default pretty honest folks label when you use guns to take over federal property and terrorise a town who demands you leave. At what ****ing point do you call these guys thugs given your leaps to judgement when black unarmed kids are shot?
