I stopped hating Nielsio well before I stopped posting because his posting improved. I'm more curious what happened to Borodog and other AC posting. The few radical libertarians that are still around like Tomdemaine and PVN don't post in a recognizable manner any more. I assume that had to do with the broader trend of liberarianism being less cool on the internet.

Once upon a time, like circa 2007-2012, this forum (like 2p2 in general, I suspect) had alot more traffic and a crapton of constant drama that almost got the forum shut down by Mason himself on multiple occasions. There was a really big election (2008) plus the ACist invasion and subsequent depopulation where we all just lost our minds so many times over, **** WAS CRAZY.

iron was moderator during this period and just straight up slayed anyone who crossed him, and sometimes random innocent people just to show he could.

Actually all of this reminds me that I casually assume there are in fact maybe 20 politics regulars, tops, which have all been banned and returned as new accounts over the years, and the same 20 people/100 accounts have been trolling each other non-stop FOR A DECADE OR MORE.

To me the forum was unreadable back when the AC folks ruined everything. It is significantly improved now that we can actual have a reasonable adult conversation without it devolving into "taxation is theft" hijacks.
