Yes, for the same reason the vast majority of Iranian cinema doesn't get exported.

Yep, exactly the same reason. No differences at all.

Go into a pub in England and order a beer at random and you are pretty likely to end up with Budweiser or Heineken. Shouldn't be surprising in a country where Coors makes the top selling brew. On the upside, they did come up with this stuff:

Re: Nationalism: Do You Actually Think America is Better Than Other Countries?
I like how the two most recent arguments ITT are about pizza and beer.
I just got back from a trip (last Sunday) in Italy, Croatia, Greece, and Turkey. I tried both pizza and beer (only drank local beer all trip) in all countries except Turkey where I only had one beer. Had a few good beers (not great) and a few decent ones. Every pizza I had on the trip I would rank in the lowest 10 percentile of pizzas I have put in my mouth except one that I had in Assisi, Italy (which would be in the 70-80 percentile).
Yes, I drank too much beer and ate too much pizza on the trip.

Re: Nationalism: Do You Actually Think America is Better Than Other Countries?
Surely, as one of the G8-countries, U.S is one (if not the) of the most influential countries in the world.
And obviously U.S is one of the greatest places to live, if you're middle-class+ that is.
However, when it comes to things like social welfare, public health care or public school system, U.S is way behind Western and Northern Europe.

Best pizza I've ever had was in Naples, Italy.
And I'm wondering why you kept eating what you thought was bad pizza.

Pretty much, yes. The basic idea may not have originated here, but the idea of mix and match toppings seems to have been popularized here, which is what modern pizza is really all about. To say that modern pizza isn't American is like saying all pasta dishes are Chinese.

This seems like a pretty goofy assertion that could never be reasonably even discussed without determining all the relevent metrics.
I'm sure it would be easy to point to a lot of great things that came out of America while ignoring any harm that its done.
How does one balance things like being a center of much technological development over things like while being settled it wiped out millions of indiginous people? One of the largest polluters in the world? Its political actions have led to the deaths of how many?
I don't know how anyone would measure this to determine if its a net positive.

My apologies for the above. I wrote it and posted it before I knew it would change to a thread on the finer appreciation of beer and deep-fried-bacon.

An easy Guide To cricket:
There are two teams in cricket.
One team is IN and one team is OUT.
The team that is OUT try to get the team that is IN, OUT.
The team that is IN try to stop the team that is OUT getting them, (the team that is in), OUT.
When the team that is OUT get the team that is IN, OUT, the team that was OUT is now the team that is IN and the team that was IN is now the team that is OUT.
Then, the team that was IN but is now the team that is OUT try to get the team that was OUT but is now the team that is IN, OUT.
And the team that was OUT but is now the team that is IN try to stop the team that was IN but is now the team that is OUT from getting them, (the team that is IN), OUT.
And they try to do this before rain stops play.
I hope this helps.
