Texas does not have a gun licenses. You can purchase rifles and shotguns at 18, handguns at 21.

I have to rethink my heatpacking strategy for my office- I would never be able to get to my weapon fast enough to stop a disgruntled patient who came in to shoot me. Fortunately, most half-blind 79 year old medicare patients don't' seem that big a threat.

Odd artifact from the second amendment. Dowel rods are not allowed in the Virginia capitol because they maybe used as weapons; guns, which are actual weapons, are allowed.

I can confirm I would voluntarily agree to a comprehensive background check, as well as, prove responsibility, skill, and knowledge with such weapons.

It's seems reasonable to conclude at this time that the longtime NRA gamble that mass shootings would not escalate and if they did that "good guys with guns" would come out the hero has been lost.

The good guys with guns bs is an obv non-starter. Sandy Hook changed little (or nothing) wrt the pro gun camp. Society's worst nightmare became reality, and since that event hasn't changed the status quo, nothing will. It will be decades before yall wake up.
