It's against the law for out of state buyers to purchase AR-15s, according to what the reports are saying.

He started out in this thread saying he agreed with all the proposals the gun control advocates put forth but didn't like how the rhetoric they used.

Say whatever you like. It doesn't bother me at all. What it does do is prevent common sense reform from happening. The NRA is a nut job group who opposes any regulation. Diane Feinstein wants a gun ban. Most reasonable people are somewhere in between. Insulting others is counterproductive to achieving the change you claim to want. By all means continue, but don't act so surprised that no gun control can make it through Congress.
