I know this is not a great answer. But if you own a business like that your best option is probably really good insurance and the foresight to run like hell. Safe your life and the lives of your loved ones and recoup the damages if possible.

Your life is so much more valuable than your stuff.

Just watched a video with korean people shooting at people. That was insane. They should be in jail for that.

Smart guns seem to be the best way to go all around.

Teachers will hold class in the gun store. Kids will be safe with all the guns around, and gun enthusiasts will get a refresher on their basic arithmetic skills.

Some ITT have stated they'd give their lives before giving up their guns. Strange seeing as they won't be able to play with many guns as a corpse.

While we are at it....Mental health counselors have to approve every gun transaction, like a notary. Alabama been unemploying alot of them lately and private practice is in decline. I smell gubbernmint jobs! Dang that NRA opened an epic can of worms!

Insurance.

Note the recent UK riots that lasted for days and had zero deaths because neither cops nor idiot shop owners were shooting at the rioters who may or may not have been armed.

I'm sure they would say life without guns isn't worth living.

Biden wrote the first assault weapon ban and of the two has significantly more experience in gun control legislation and not even close so letting him take the lead increases the chances of success. Plus he is busy trying to negotiate the fiscal cliff deal so if nothing else he can't give the appearance of split attention on that.

As for the NRA, ignoring them when everyone who would agree with you is already talking about how irrelevant they are is always the best move. Scoring points taking pot shots that is already being done by your policy advocates just creates a distraction.

The line is 1 post. He is seemingly banned from the thread by Wookie due to the number of bans he picked up in such a short amount of time.

Zero deaths eh, wow. How many would have been killed unnecessarily if the same thing happened in the US? Is murdering some idiot because he threw a rock through your window really a good reason?

The line is 0.5. If you get banned from this thread twice, you will be asked not to return. If you subsequently post in this thread, you get a week.

It seems to me that Obama doesn't really like to mix it up with Congress. Delegating the initial stages to Joe may be the best path for meaningful change.

How do you think this conflates with the fiscal slope stuff?

I assume the thread has moved on, but I would have a major problem with this unless implemented in a way that guarantees privacy rights that I don't think can be guaranteed.

Beats me, the Republicans will act irrationally? I think Biden's job initially will be to see what they can get done in the Senate in his own party. Then see how the House leadership shakes out in the next Congress.

Not sure Saturday Night Live can do anything parody wise with the NRA News Conference. I guess they could just play it again as is.

This shouldn't be treated as a serious post.

Smart tech seems kind of pointless if you can buy a guy some random show in the middle of nowhere.

It is, but as a long term goal it would seem to be a point where the differing positions could merge.
