They finally got the guy. Jesus, his rap sheet of crazy is long as ****. How the **** did this guy ever get a gun?

You know exactly how he got his guns.

Look, sometimes a good guy with a gun is going to give his gun to a bad guy without a gun. Sharing is what good guys do. Do you really want to live in a world where people don't share?

Deplorables are getting really ****ing lazy. In the past they've at least paid lip service to mental health or something.

How could the cops expect a father to have an unbiased view about whether his own son had become stable enough to have a gun? They deserve a significant portion of the blame.

I'm not sure how much choice they had in the matter. It's his property and there's no legal restriction on owning a gun just because someone in your household is crazy as ****.

David, can you think of an alternative solution, one that also involves law enforcement?

That Waffle House was no angel.

I've heard that in some parts of the world parents are actually protective of their child's wellbeing. Americans are weird when it comes to guns.

Dude's white bro. Welcome to 'murica.

How many times do you have to get hit over the head about guns, rural white America and violence for you to finally say "Hey, you know what? Maybe these liberals are onto something?"

Yeah this situation is horrible but there is not a legal means for them to keep the guns in this case.

Without the slightest doubt I have a lower opinion of both guns and rural white America than you do. The only real disagreement I have with some liberals is that their "empathy" does not innoculate them from contempt if they have decided not to get good at logic and probability.

Time to shell out some Sklansky bucks on one of those $1300 Yeti Coolers before they go bankrupt in May.
04-24-2018 , 01:43 PM
man you guys laugh but im gonna tell you right now, as somebody who travels all over the south to do rednecky **** like camping and fishing, the crossover level of NRA members/YETI cooler owners is pretty goddamn ****ing high
04-24-2018 , 01:47 PM
That's some Hillbilly Elegy **** right there. Nothing says "economic anxiety" quite like buying a tricked-out AR-15 and a $500 cooler.

Can the legal team here tell me how common it is for someone like this to get bail? Like, $2M is a lot, but I was surprised it's even an option at all.

Tennesseeing is tennebeliving.
04-24-2018 , 06:37 PM
from what i read, albeit very quickly, Tennessee pretty much always allows bond except in cases where the state is seeking the death penalty, and prosecutors had not decided if they were seeking the death penalty.

Why are RWNJ’s so bad at boycotts? The NRA got its feelings really hurt so lunatics start shooting up their own coolers they already paid for.

It seems their reactions are always to destroy their own property as a boycott. I’m not really sure they grasp the process. Plus Yeti just redid their discount plan and asked the NRA to sign up for the new one. This is a crystallized example of what is wrong with so many people these days.

To paraphrase Dave Mustaine: "if you're going to destroy them you've got to buy them first".

Don't need designed obsolescence when people are idiots.
