What they really needed was a good guy with a gun to shoot the stupid person with a gun. No other solution.

We need to give guns to books.

I don't have the mental energy to ask why they didn't just do a test shoot to see if a bullet would go through the book they were planning to use (or another book of equivalent thickness). The whole story is incredibly sad.

The article said he tested it before, but I'm guessing his test was watching the one I found on the internet of a 9mm firing into a 2 inch catalog(thicker shiny paper), only going 3/4 through and figured there wouldn't be a difference.

Is nerve agent covered by the 2nd?

It's supposed to be. But lo and behold it isn't.

Only small arms are, apparently. Which is another reason to laugh at the 2A types.

N.R.A. Proposes Having Second Armed Teacher in Every Classroom to Stop First Armed Teacher from Misfiring-Andy Borowitz-not the news.

Quote:
Hours after an armed teacher in a Northern California classroom fired a gun and injured a student, the head of the National Rifle Association proposed placing a second armed teacher in every classroom, to shoot the first armed teacher before he or she can do harm.

“Had there been a second armed teacher in the classroom to shoot the first armed teacher, this regrettable incident would never have occurred,” Wayne LaPierre said. “The only thing that stops a bad teacher with a gun is a good teacher with a gun.”

I fired a Desert Eagle at a Las Vegas gun range. The powerful recoil made that a very unpleasant experience.

Nitpick: You can't get a Darwin Award if you have already reproduced.

Poetic justice would have been a good guy with a gun in that room doing what a good guy with a gun is supposed to do.

In Fortnite the deagle is very appropriately referred to as a hand cannon.

Moar gunz. Only solution. Please put one in every teacher’s desk.

The only way to stop guns from being grabbed is to, wait for, this is genius:

Arm the guns! The only thing that stops a bad guy from grabbing your gun is a good gun with a gun.

Nice. Fractal patterns of guns. Guns all the way down.

Silly goose. You piss us off, we kill you in "self defense."

The logical conclusion is banning people to protect guns. I am kind of okay with it.

Bail bondsman have even more leeway to kill you than cops, because if they're looking for you they don't need any kind of cause or warrant to go into somewhere they think you are and shoot up the place.

I did a bit of reading on that case, the apparent consensus is that had the prosecution gone for something less than murder one they likely would have gotten a conviction but the standard for murder one in OK could not be met in the case.

Not sure I buy it. She told investigators that she shot the guy because he was going for her gun, and that she "struggled" with him over the gun. You can clearly see from that video that there was no struggle and he was not at the desk where the gun was located...because he was too busy trying to climb out of her window when she shot him in the back.

Wait, she shot him in the back?

Also she's not going to continue being a bail bondswoman, she's going into photography instead. I guess she's got the shooting part down pat.

Correct. There was a window behind her chair, off camera. He was attempting to climb out of that window (because she had locked the door preventing him from leaving that way) and she shot him.
