Guess how many Delta passengers used that NRA discount that was recently rescinded.

Spoiler:
13.

That's not a typo. I really mean thirteen people. In the history of the program.

Chapo had a funny hate-reading of a Dennis Prager (conservative talk radio guy) article recently, titled Liberals and Conservatives Are Unhappy for Different Reasons

Quote:
Unhappy conservatives generally believe they are unhappy because life is inherently difficult and tragic, and because they have made some unwise decisions in life.

But unhappy liberals generally believe they are unhappy because they have been persecuted.
Everyone busted out laughing after this introduction like "yeah the people who go to Starbucks to demand some poor barista write Merry Christmas as their name on a cup totally blame their unhappiness on themselves" - seems you can add people that angrily boycott Delta (or lawmakers who retaliate against them) over a program that nobody ever used to the category of people who totally blame themselves for their failures

(or, more generally - people who respond to pollsters saying "I think whites face discrimination in America today" totally don't blame others for their unhappiness)

New fb update from shook trumpkin:

Anyone interested in $1,065 worth of Field and Stream / Dick’s Sporting Goods gift cards for $950? All card balances can be verified before taking payment. Let me know if interested!
Not sure which reply is better:

Quote:
I'll give ya $300 for all of them.
And I promise to act pissed off at their store when I spend them!
If I get em for $250 I would create a 2nd amendment scene! Lol
Or his wife replying she'll take them.
03-02-2018 , 05:25 PM
Please reply telling him if he were serious about his convictions he would shred them so nobody could use them.
03-02-2018 , 05:26 PM
They're gift cards. They already have your money, dumbass.

The majority of conservative talk radio, fox news, federalist/NRO type air and column filling is just pure fan fiction. If these guys weren't funded by right wing billionaires they'd be writing about my little pony on tumblr.

I posted: "True conviction would be using them for target practice and posting the video to YouTube."

The other hilarious part, a pro guns Bernie bro, posted something about how they should turn in their Maga hats after trumps due process comments. And trumpkins twin brother, chimes in bemoaning how he turned this into something political. Lol, it's a ****ing post about political (and insanely stupid) protest. Not to mention said bemoaner posts all the insane right wing memes on the daily.

TIL that the NRA boycotted the show MacGyver because in the show he didn't use a gun to get out of the situations he was in.

You can’t write that and not post a link!

MacGyver is a unique action hero because he rarely uses guns throughout the show, but not everyone was happy about his anti-gun stance. When the 1988 episode that showed the reason MacGyver didn’t like guns aired, the National Rifle Association went crazy. MacGyver’s boyhood friend was killed by one accidentally.

“They’ve been encouraging people not to watch us and boycott our sponsors,” co-producer Steve Downing said of the NRA in an interview with The Los Angeles Times. “We try to do a decent job of really saying why a gun is dangerous, and they choose to boycott us and put us on their hit list.”

Money launderers used to buy just tons of them because it was easy to do and not tracked, but it seems like the authorities have cracked down on that.

I always wondered why my opponents were so bad at poker. like, I have no idea what your process is to come up with these numbers. I would never be able to figure that out. but I do know, that you have absolutely no ability to synthesize any sort of logical or mathematical argument. you may randomly be right sometimes, but it would be best to just assume that your ideas and calculations are just wrong and not worry about how you get there.

It's very easy to figure out how he got there with this one. I'm sure we could even explain it to him if we drew a graph with apples and oranges and bananas.
