I always wondered why my opponents were so bad at poker. I could never understand their thought process. whenever I would try to figure out what they were thinking and ascribe any sort of sense to their decisions I would do worse. when I just assumed they were completely clueless and just randomly doing things I did much better.

like, I have no idea what your process is to come up with these numbers. I would never be able to figure that out. but I do know, that you have absolutely no ability to synthesize any sort of logical or mathematical argument. you may randomly be right sometimes, but it would be best to just assume that your ideas and calculations are just wrong and not worry about how you get there.

It's very easy to figure out how he got there with this one. I'm sure we could even explain it to him if we drew a graph with apples and oranges and bananas.
