People want more gun control and are not satisfied with the current standards.

Were you unaware of this data?
03-15-2013 , 11:16 AM
You think that data makes your THINK OF THE MOTHERS post less dumb?

lol you.

Well, no the gallup poll should not change the moms post. I kind of assumed people know that public opinion is generally not on the side of the GRAs. It does make this comment look silly:

No, no it doesn't. That is mocking your asinine post about public opinion and a LIST OF GRIEVING MOTHERS, when it should have just used the simple poll.

This isn't hard. Maybe if you could see through all the tears you'll figure it out.

The NRA acted like *******s to those mothers, The NRA is confirmed *******s. Being an ******* sums up an entire angle of pro-gun political strategy these days.

Not in this thread for the most part. Shocking addition to their blinders: they can't keep their rage in check and all got banned from this thread. Makes you feel a bit safer knowing they have guns doesn't it?

Okay...that's a weird comment. The number of posts on this subject I can make is not finite.

So we went from "who cares about the nra they are just a lobby group" to caring that they don't accept petitions.
03-15-2013 , 01:34 PM
I never say "who cares" of a group or individual who has declared me an enemy.

More quality legislation from the hallowed halls of the Kansas house.

Quote:
Because of poor wording, an amendment to a bill seeking to add the state Capitol to a list of public buildings where the concealed carry of weapons is allowed actually removed the ban on the open carry of guns there.

State Rep. John Wilson (D-Lawrence), the sponsor of the amendment, said that in the rush to have it drafted, an attorney in the Revisor of Statutes office removed the open-carry provision instead of adding the Capitol to the concealed-carry list. Wilson said he was told about the mistake Wednesday evening following the House vote and then informed his colleagues on Thursday, prior the final confirmation of the bill.
1. why would you allow conceal and carry in a state capitol?
2. why are they rushing? gun rights are literally hurting the people they represent. these people are so weird. must hate their constituents.

Actually I'm rethinking this. I have a feeling Cruz may actually turn out to be a pretty elite troll. I suspect this won't be the last time we see him gettin dem jimmies confirmed rustled.

Cruz is a complete troll. There is no way he does not know what he is doing.

Anyway,

A 33-year-old man from western New York state is the first person to be charged under the state's strict new gun law that was passed in the wake of the Newtown, Conn., school shootings.

Prosecutors said Benjamin Wassell, of Silver Creek, N.Y., was charged with illegally selling assault and semi-automatic assault weapons to an undercover state police investigator, WGRZ-TV reported.
New York taking the first step towards True Freedom. Not that stupid nonsensical mutually assured destruction personal freedom that GRAs want so badly. Good first step.

"Assault and semi automatic assault weapons"

What in the world?

True freedom only comes from imprisoning someone for something that had been legal for the first 300 years of this country's existence. Confucius say

Gotta respect the skills he has shown so far. I think we're in for a good show for a long time.

Yes the number of posts is the problem, not the histrionics.

Just because you don't want emotion to have a role in politics does not mean it will go away.

Inanimate objects tho. We should probably lock up those who drink soft drinks too while we are at it. As a matter of fact how about we just legislate all personal decisions.

What are you in for? 24 oz coke.
03-16-2013 , 10:13 PM
24 ounces of coke will get you a lot of time.

And that doesn't meant that it makes good policy.

It's good policy for a ton of reasons. I'm just doing my best to find any argument that works. Look, gun control advocates own every element of this argument. Stats, emotion, and logic is all on the side of the gun control advocates. There is no question about that.

Quote:
Colorado's ideological battle over gun rights was played out in stark fashion Saturday in Boulder, where a gun magazine giveaway was forced to turn away some people due to high demand, while at least 100 people protested silently a short distance away.
These people set up a gun magazine give away which will literally do no good for anyone. The best it can do is help another mass shooter kill more people. These are the foot soldiers of GRA. No real goal other than to arm people to needlessly kill innocent people at a higher rate.

They're worried about legislation changes that will change nothing about their lives or their rights. But they will fight to make sure anyone who wants to kill people will be able to do so with as many bullets as possible.

And let me get this straight. There is no point to high capacity magazines other than to kill people. The GRAs handing out magazines should know that there is only one use for these magazines, and that is the murder of human beings. Disgusting.
