The meltdown will be Fox News freaking out about it until they have to switch over to the War On Christmas.

jfc nibbles calm down. How can you get so spun up about an obviously bull**** story? Did this not tip you off?

Here it is, folks, and it is bad news. The framework for legislation is always laid, and the Democrats have the votes to pass anything they want to impose upon us.
umm...no they don't, divided government ftw. No need to go into a post-apocalypse rage quite yet.

Nothing makes the case about your right to own high capacity magazine semi auto battlefield rifles quite like killing the poor bastard copper who is enforcing the law.

On the upside a lot of paranoid people will get to feel they were right after all before they get a fiffy cal put through them.

When BO was voted into office, we had a financial system in disarray and skyrocketing unemployment. People were crying for jobs. And what did he make the centerpiece of his first four years?

A jobs program, like one might expect?

No. Healthcare reform. And not some new, interesting healthcare reform. ****ty, warmed-over Republican-response-to-Hillarycare-in-199x healthcare reform.

So does it make sense that BO would once again be completely misguided and tackle and issue not at the top of many people's lists? Why the hell not? And one that Clinton dealt with back in the mid-nineties? Even more perfect, given BO's track record.

I understand how people don't want a leader who follows the changing winds or wtf ever, but a leader that barely pays attention to the crisis gripping the nation is just, well, misguided. Funneling even more money to banks by continuing Bush's bailout policy, yeah, ok, I guess that sorta counts as something.

A lot of these people need to fantasize about finally getting to shoot an "urban youth" or an "Agenda 21 implementing federal agent" or whatever the bogeyman is(p.s. the bogeyman is always one of those two!) because otherwise their decision to spend half of their SSDI check every month on AR-15 accessories might seem economically foolish.

No. You won't. You will think of your family, give up the guns they know about, and hide the others.

My stepdad had 20-some pistols and shotguns - some were licensed, some weren't. He too worried that the govt was gonna take his guns away (this was the 70s - but I'm sure it's coming any day now). But he never said anything as silly as your statement above. If he did my
Mom would have laughed at him I'm sure.

Did any NYC residents go down fighting when the gun ban took place there? I guess Midwesterners and southerners are just cut from a different cloth than 10 million New Yorkers.

In all seriousness, that's pretty good propaganda. It's not the best, but it's pretty good.

Should have went all out and created fake WH internal documents and linking the PDF of those fake internal WH documents in the article, but it's ok as it is.

Sorry that Obama didn't wait another 20 years or who-knows-how-long for the republicans to screw up so bad the dems to get the House, Presidency and a super-majority in the senate and the US can finally join the rest of the developed world with UHC.

Definitely this is one case where we should have just called a timeout then punted.

what would you do if someone showed up and demanded your car, or your bank account? Now... think about if they were demanding your ability to protect yourself and your family.

This is the price of trying to have an adult discussion with fly ladies and gentlemen, This is one of dozen of chances that I have given him alone. Each and every chance is met with strawmen, derision, and accusations of racism.

Yeah "I'm gonna go down in a blaze of glory if they come for my Mac-10" = adult conversation.

I'm gonna give this story an 8/10 on the gun-nut boner-meter for you - given that despite the obvious ludicrousness of the story - you still manahed to fap to fantasies about going out Butch Cassidy & Sundance-style.

While I agree with your statement, to really grasp what Fly has managed to accomplish here, we must look a little deeper.

This "urban youth" thing is clearly a reference to Trayvon Martin, and I must grudgingly give credit to Fly for his ability to manipulate several sheepish thinkers ITF into actually believing his schtick that George Zimmerman is an accurate representation of a typical gun rights advocate.

It's sad, but the talent required to cause several here to believe that is nothing to scoff at.
