There's also the option of buying a condo or townhouse for 60-80k. But we are certainly not buying before we live there for a while

One of the profs on my committee bought a trailer home to live in when he was a grad student. He was from backwoods Appalachia tho, so he didn't mind going full hillbilly for a while.

I'm almost out of envelope moistener. Sometime next week I'll be completely out. I checked Amazon.com, but I feel their prices are too high on this product. I don't want to drive to town just for this. When I finally go to the store for something else next week, I'm positive I'll forget that I need envelope moistener. As soon as I get back, I'll remember, and I'll be mad. Got that? I'm getting mad IN THE FUTURE.

I see no way out of this problem. This is it. Tell my wife I loved her.

Use your cell phone to keep a list of stuff you need to buy. Then check it when you're at the store. Easy peasy.

Also, the price difference cannot be worth not just ordering on Amazon and having the ship it to you for free.

The envelope moisteners I've used just had water inside a small bottle with a sponge in place of the cap.
