I'm something of a Musk fanboy, but my support is contingent and not too deep. His recent journalism tweets have been stupid. They would be lame in a normal world, but they are even worse in a world with Trump. That said, he'd have to do a lot more to lose me. I'm also a Soros fanboy, especially regarding his politics, philosophy, and philanthropy, but have more respect for Musk's actual achievements in business and tech and appreciate his general contrariness.

I wonder if this kind of thing is the future of broadcast TV. With young people watching streaming media or playing Fortnite, ABC may be forced to sell itself to old Trumpy people the same way AM radio has gone fully deplorable.

At any rate, ABC must have known this kind of thing would happen, so it’s possible that they’re prepared to issue an apology and still keep the show. OTOH, the parent company Disney can’t be comfortable being this closely affiliated with this kind of vile hate.

Anti-Gawker **** is much worse than Elon Musk worship, obviously, as when found online it's heavily infused with Gamergate ****.

But like, SK can't pretend he was just "golly fellas I see you're talking about Elon Musk, no time to read any of the words before or after his name, time to chime in with support for him and also support for his fanbase, which is of course a totally normal thing for a car company CEO to have" given that the reason Musk is in the news is him having a total online meltdown including:

1) Actionable labor law violations
2) Endorsing the sex cult's weird objective journalism rating site
3) More broadly making the nonspecific rant about the media being out to get him because some tiny investigative outfits investigated his workshop
NOT TO MENTION
4) ****ing blamed the Jews for #3!!!!!!!!!!!!

Like, not to put too fine a point on it, but if someone popped in now to point out that people are being too harsh right now, Roseanne was definitely a top 5 sitcom in the early 1990s, nobody would see that as value neutral television criticism.

You can almost respect Roseanne here for being so committed to posting that she jeopardized the return to mainstream comedy that she spent two entire decades working towards. She was responding to some rando!
