Also probably because Asian women are awesome.

Only thing keeping me going today is knowing that Dennis Miller will be dropping some sick burns any minute now.
05-02-2018 , 01:56 PM
This could be completely misguided as I have no real basis for thinking this, but I felt like Rosenstein was safe as long as Cobb was in there.

In other news, NYT editorial page has now gone full incel:

Apparently we may have to wait until Midnight PDT.

Women: I can't get laid by anyone I want to get laid by.

*crickets*

Men: I can't get laid by anyone I want to get laid by.

NYT: ZOMG women are withholding sex!

Man, don't even try reading that column. Just trust me when I tell you it's even creepier than you could have ever expected.

I may not deserve sex welfare, but it sure would be nice.

It can't be worse than the Brett Stephens "hold on guys let's not rush to judgement on Woody Allen" thing

bye Ty

Listen, I am 100% on board with robot sex slaves and I'm still creeped out af by that article. Douthat is a lock to put date rape drugs in the punch bowl at the next NYT office party.
05-02-2018 , 02:40 PM
Trolly's freakout over that Douthat column is pretty funny.
05-02-2018 , 02:43 PM
I don't want to be sexually redistributed, fam.
05-02-2018 , 02:50 PM
If you're freaking out from fear that the government is going to have you personally be raped by an incel, that actually makes it more funny, not less.

Of course it's creepy, incels are the creepiest bunch of neck beards on the planet.
05-02-2018 , 03:13 PM
Douthat piece is as much biologically and psychologically stupid as it is creepy. And it is creepy.

In the last paragraph he gets at why, but it's pretty weak.

When incels get money and power: Redskins Cheerleaders Describe a Trip to Costa Rica That Crossed a Line

Quote:
When the Washington Redskins took their cheerleading squad to Costa Rica in 2013 for a calendar photo shoot, the first cause for concern among the cheerleaders came when Redskins officials collected their passports upon arrival at the resort, depriving them of their official identification.

For the photo shoot, at the adults-only Occidental Grand Papagayo resort on Culebra Bay, some of the cheerleaders said they were required to be topless, though the photographs used for the calendar would not show nudity. Others wore nothing but body paint. Given the resort’s secluded setting, such revealing poses would not have been a concern for the women — except that the Redskins had invited spectators.

A contingent of sponsors and FedExField suite holders — all men — were granted up-close access to the photo shoots.

One evening, at the end of a 14-hour day that included posing and dance practices, the squad’s director told nine of the 36 cheerleaders that their work was not done. They had a special assignment for the night. Some of the male sponsors had picked them to be personal escorts at a nightclub.

Cheerleaders are paid **** money and are expected to hand over control of their lives in exchange for visibility or having "former NFL cheerleader" on their resume or whatever it is they're expecting to get out of it

Robot sex is fine but it's not "redistribution of sex" and it doesn't imply a "right to sex"; article is weird.

This is basically unpossible.

I mean this is a known fact and they choose to do it anyway, so who cares?

Old article about how terrible the Redskins owner is: https://www.washingtoncitypaper.com/...-to-dan-snyder Dunks were spectacular enough to prompt him to sue.

How is the part I quoted abusive or coercive? Like, they are given a proposition "this job has bad pay and a ****load of annoying rules but you get visibility" and they say "fine". Or am I missing something?

Right leaning American style libertarians turn the idea that government should not use force to regulate behavior into an abdication of their own moral responsibilities. You should care and should not support someone if they are in turn hiring people to be abused and humiliated insofar as you can help it. Just one more reason to boycott the Redskins.

I'd like to invest my winnings into Rosenstein and Kelley parlay. When he moves against the Muller investigation, think the HR department at the WHite House is going to be damn busy.
